Herd Social

Hello! I haven’t had this app for long, but so far I’m loving it. Everyone is so positive, and it’s very refreshing to just scroll through and look at other people’s photos. I highly suggest you download this app before it gets bombarded with trolls. One problem I do have with this app is it’s notification system. There is a bell icon where you can check your notifications, but no dot shows up when you get one. I think it would be great to add a little dot that shows up when I get a notification, similar to the ones other apps have (I hope I explained that well). I also noticed that I could no longer see my notification after a certain amount of time. I’m not sure if this is a bug or if it was intended to do this, but I would really like if I could go back to read my notifications. Other than that, I LOVE this app and can tell a lot of work was put into it!

The herd social app is soooo funn!! There’s no likes and no followers so no one can ever be famous from it unlike most social medias. It’s just about seeing cool pictures and meeting new friends. However I do have one suggestion, if when you click on a picture it would be really cool if you could click on someone’s profile and add their other social medias and people could customize their profile so still the no follower concept but that way you can actually talk to new friends. That would be amazing or if there could be a section where you can send and receive messages to only one person instead of commenting under their post. That way it’s easier to talk to new people! But overall the app is new and really interesting!

hi, like many other people have struggled over and over with social media and using it as a facilitator to compare ourselves to overly edited photos and plastered fake smiles. over and over again I would fall in the cycle of getting obsessive and then depressed and then deleting social media but unfortunately it wasn't ever more for a week. I've always wanted somewhere I could go as a sanctuary take place, with only one day on it it makes me feel so much better. I saw this one beautiful post of this interior design with some plants in it and some gold accents, I decided to look at the comments and when I tell you I've never seen such positive and genuine environment. herd is everything you can ask for out of a social media app but in a way that makes you feel empowered and good about yourself instead of falling into a toxic cycle, one of my favorite features is that you can tailor your feed to what you're feeling. I've never seen that before and I think it's a brilliant idea. Long story short, I'm very glad for the creators of this app to create a safe space from the toxicity's of social media. much love <3
