Honk

I love the app! But it would be cool if there were some things added like group chats or small things like that but this one question that I would like to ask is maybe it would be ok if we can choose genders or maybe we can still have a conversation with people that aren’t exactly like a 91%? I think that I would be nice if that was added because having conversations that actually math with you are cool and all but when I would like to see another person sometimes it says there aren’t people that match with you and it does like a lot and I just thought that maybe I could just ask that tiny favor. But other than that the app is great!

It’s all real time, which is such a cool concept for a texting app. I hate calling people, but if I want a conversation that feels more genuine and personal than normal texting, this is it! I love how easy it is to type something and then just press the button in the bottom right to clear it. I was a bit worried since this is a new app that they wouldn’t have such conveniences, but I was mistaken. I’m also a big fan of magic words! You type something and a flurry of emojis appear. Also love how cute the symbols are for when you honk, and that the sound isn’t annoying! I hate the beeps and rings of normal notifications so this is good! My only problem is that the text bubble gets too full, too fast, and I think the text size should have an option to be lower. Also, I heard that they are working on group chats!?? Which would be really cool, but also pretty chaotic. That’s will probably be part of the fun tho, lol! If they make the text sizes adjustable I’ll make my review a 5! Happy honking

I love the app its such a fun way to talk to people but there are a few issues. When I leave a chat for someone to see and leave and come back later I see that the last few letters of the chat were deleted, this has happened a lot. Also notifications in the app glitch sometimes to where it wont go away, not a huge deal since exiting and opening the app again fixes the issue. Other than the issues I think theres a few things that would make the app more enjoyable. Group chats would be a really great add since only having be able to talk to one person at a time can be limiting. This one might be a stretch but I think adding a little time somewhere on someones message profile when you click them showing their timezone and what time it is for them currently would be a great add since the honk feature can be annoying for someone if its late at night. The person would see that it is late at night for them and not bother them. Adding to this another idea would be to add an ability to create an online status, i.e. "online" "sleeping" "busy" etc. etc. to show if they are busy or not. This being able to be changed by the person.
