Cappuccino - stay in touch

This app helped so much with my post graduation blues, as my bffs and I moved across the world (some of us even to different countries)! Our group has a streak of 151 days going, and we think this app is fantastic! It’s a bit confusing at first, but once you get the hang of it, it’s so effective at keeping you in touch with your favorite people! My only wish is that you’d be able to choose to put the audio recordings at various speeds, like a real podcast. Sometimes, my friends and I have Cappuccinos that are 40 minutes long, and so this feature would be so helpful in that scenario! Either way, I don’t think you will regret getting this app. It’s amazing for keeping you connected :)!

I saw a tiktok about this and didn’t think much about it, but decided to download it and try something new. Knowing myself I pause a lot when I try to record audios so I was so glad when I saw the pause button. It’s so much smoother and faster and sounds so much better when I record beans now. The idea of beans in the capuchino is so cute and unique to anything I’ve seen before. The little mugs you get from streaks and beans recorded are also such a cute feature. You do need a phone number to make an account which is required was my only difficulty because I wanted my younger sister to join. I love how you can make groups and also talk privately with your friends. The games and questions you can prompt to your friends are such cool features and I definitely shared this app to all of my friends. I 110% recommend getting this app with your friends it’s so fun! So glad I saw that tiktok.

My friends and I started using this app and it has a lot of potential, but the lack of being able to choose certain things about our cappuccinos really turned us off from it. Not being able to choose the music was a big thing for my friend group personally, being able to customize the music (allowing our own music, making it easier to turn off the music) Choosing the times as well would’ve helped us to keep using the app longer. We are college students that usually stay up pretty late, so we would wake up in the afternoon not 7am, so making them available at our own custom time would’ve been nice! Lastly YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO DELETE BEANS. Messing up a bean and accidentally sending it without being able to modify or delete is not great. Even an edit button would be nice! Overall I really like the concept and idea of this app but I think my friend group stopped using it because of the total lack of user control and customization. If it ever gets updated perhaps we’ll start using it again
