Defender 24-7

I have just purchased my 2nd set of cameras for our new house. My first one was 8 cameras. This one is 16 cameras. I install cameras for business and home I used a different brand . I have now switched to Deffender cameras. They have better picture quality especially when you zoom in to capture a face or license plate . They are easy to use and the recording play back is clean as the live video . The customer service is outstanding. You actually speak to a person that understands the system they sell . This by far the best for the money. You’ll love the app for your phone you’ll instantly pictures and video of what’s going on at home. This system gives you peace of mind when your not home. Every time we log on the first time it does image recognition and then closes have to open a second time then it works great. It does this on all three of our devices. We are using a iPhone 13, iPhone 14, and iPhone 12 Also would be nice if went back to older version of viewer when you had the large version of camera on phone and when you swipe all the way left and get to last camera it would go back to first camera. Now when you swipe all the way left and gets to last camera it won’t go and you have to swipe right to get back to first camera. When trying to watch something that is on multiple cameras the old way was much easier.

The cameras are good but not sharp at a distance across the street or at night in the street when a car drives by. I’m in a community so they are not going fast . Daytime, can’t make out drivers faces. At night, grainy and there is a drop off with IR lighting at the end of the driveway. Thinking about another IR light. My driveway is not long. At dusk cars driving by blur more. Also, I blocked out tree movement and/ or their shadows but it still triggers the camera for motion. And house across the street has a motion light at the corner of the house that goes on and off all night, this too triggers my camera and that’s blocked out too. Any solutions for these issues? Overall I’m pretty happy with the system. ** Thanks for the response although technically it doesn’t help. “Blocking out” trees and other natural movement doesn’t seem to work. The camera is still triggered for movement. At dusk problems shouldn’t happen if fps was higher. It seems that this is too slow. The cars aren’t going fast either. It would be good if Defender offered an IR light that can be placed further away to supplement the one ion the camera. I am trying to find a solar powered IR light that can fix the drop off problem. Thanks.
