Lorex Cloud

Thank you for fixing the Lorex cloud push notifications. What I did not like is you answering feedback with 2 and 3 year old responses. You need to look at the bad reviews and fix the problem asap. I had to end up calling you to get this problem resolved. When I tell you there’s a problem on your end start believing in that, because I know my system better than you do! Only one other thing, I use the 4 alarm contacts in the back of the NVR. It never once recorded the associated camera with the alarm contact picked up.

I invested over 6 grand on a Lorex security system, and this app has been a complete disappointment. I wish I had done more research beforehand because the experience has been terrible. The app is extremely slow, crashes frequently, and takes forever to load camera feeds. When exporting footage, the files are in .dav extension which is highly inconvenient since it not widely supported. You have to convert the videos before viewing which is needless hassle for s system jn this price range. Honestly avoid Lorex altogether. The company provides little to no support for ongoing issues that many of their users experience. All of there other apps are not compatible with my commercial NVR. I cannot wait to replace the system with something more reliable. Avoid!!!

This app will not connect to the FLIR NVR. The “developers” clearly just rebranded the ancient FLIR Cloud app that was constantly crashing. They simply changed the colors of the old app (that was never updated) from black to light blue. They did nothing to improve it, and not only does the app not connect, it gives you zero insight into the error causing the problem. Maybe some random developer-of-the-week from Lorex will respond to this review saying thank you for the info and explain how they will consider the info, but nothing will happen. Lorex will still push this worthless app to customers that have spent $1000s on their cameras only to find out they are unusable given the junk software. Don’t buy anything from these people. Quality is the last thing on their minds.
