There are some odd choices in this app. You can have multiple chats with your provider but you: 1. cannot set a subject for the chat 2. cannot do anything to indicate when a chat is concluded to your satisfaction You wind up with multiple chats, all active, with no sense of what they're for. It's confusing and annoying. You get lab results. If you haven't read a few, you can't tell which are unread. A single lab may create multiple results. What to tap? I don't know! There's a "devices" section but no way to add a device... Same with goals, services, imaging, vitals (Let me connect Apple Health to it 🤦🏻♂️???), conditions... Of course, some of these may be for the doctor. But when it says "no user-entered data", you'd think they want me to enter some. Yet the app does not offer. So the user here is the doctor? As the patient, I don't know. Again, very frustrating. Also, seems odd and uncomfortable, as a patient, to see sections of the app lie fallow. If a doctor doesn't use your app for some of its purposes, they should be able to disable/hide that section so that it doesn't show up for the patient either. Otherwise, it can look like something that just goes missed in the relationship when the doctor probably just doesn't use the app's features and records the information another way. When entering my details in my personal information, Not Every Word Needs Capitalization Because Most Aren't My Name. Oh, and it regularly logs me out. Or it believes I'm logged out. I quit the app, come back, FaceID, and I'm back into the app. Overall, very disappointed that my provider chose this app. I can only imagine that they did because it must be a far cheaper software as a service than its competitors. It's so fun being an alpha tester for an app that's not in TestFlight. Yes, this is sarcasm. This app should not be on sale. Period. Please, put more into this app. It's shameful, in its current state. Better still, take it off the App Store and put it back up once you've worked out these basic issues. — A patient frustrated with your app
I’m new to this and may change my review after a while. For now, I’ll just say it is easy to use which, when you are faced with some medical issue, if very comforting. It’s really good to know that you can get real, useful advice, from a known professional at any time of day or night. Did I also say reliable? It is!
Forcing patients into a mobile only platform for managing medical records is inexcusable. No web access, no tablet optimization; just a tiny phone screen for reviewing test results, medication lists, and appointment details. This creates serious accessibility problems for patients with vision issues or anyone coordinating complex care who needs proper screen space and keyboard access. Healthcare information is too important to cram onto a 6-inch display. Every modern healthcare platform offers multi-device access. The fact that SigmaMD doesn't shows a fundamental misunderstanding of how patients actually manage their health. Until they build a proper web interface, ask your doctor for a platform that respects basic usability.
