Mashreq Neo - Bank easy

I was very optimistic when I downloaded the application because A competition exists enbd Isint the only app on the market and B trading in the stock market through an app a service finally available in dubai that’s insane and no banking app offers it not even Enbd - Liv - well and good so far I registered gave my emirates ID did the whole procedure and then finally got around to using the application- the application. Itself is buggy logs me out automatically - ( my phones fully updated) - the application lags and does not feel seamless at all as compared to the Liv app - it has a lot of potential and a lot of room to grow please get some competent people to do a better job and it could be quite great but for now the app is horrendous big ew energy I’ve emailed them about cancelling my account even before I try and fight to get my debit card since a lot of the comments here are about fighting to get debit cards or inability to check statements there’s work to be done but if done properly it can show very good results cheers guys :)

So it happens to be my mistake that I opted to choose Mashreq Neo as one of my accounts. Firstly when I get message for my delivery and someone calls to confirm the date and time and then on the day of delivery no one turns up. When I call them they say sorry and we haven’t dispatched and gives me another date. The card finally arrives and they tell me that the account will be activated in 7 to 10 days. Nothing happens and I keep on chasing them and they say sir it will be done. Finally on 29th July when I call them they say there was another customer with the same name so they dint open my account. I thought I was only person with this name in the entire universe. Mashreq Bank please give some logical excuse to your customers and we are not studying in the same schools like your agents. And even if that is the case why don’t you call the customers and rather expect them to call you. Or is it because you offer some promotion and then realize you did not get the number of customers expected so avoid opening the accounts in the given time.

I applied for account like almost a month ago and I received the welcome kit as expected after how many days. But it took 20 days to activate my account because of some issues and asked me to submit documents. I’ve been contacting them almost daily to make a follow up but didn’t get any proper response. I almost gave up on them but when I tried to call again, I spoke to Ghurav and he went above and beyond by making sure it will be resolved on the same day. And then just after how many hours he called me on my mobile to inform that it’s now resolved. Thank you!
