Like most I’ve tried my fair share of workout apps over the years, they all have their pros and cons, and our experiences are subjective. This is a very user friendly app. I like the ability to swap out exercises (if I’m at the gym and a piece of equipment is being used I can swap for something else that works the same area), and that I can go from home based to gym just as easily. That flexibility is really great. The tracking is also easy to use and I love the 2 visuals for each programmed exercise. You have the option of a quick visual showing the movement or a full video walkthrough with step by step instructions, sometimes I just need to be reminded of the movement pattern before starting a set. What this app excels at in my experience is the customer service. No app is perfect, but the creator has full control over the customer service experience, and this team is by far the best I’ve come across. Always responsive, in the app and over email, around any questions or issues and always trying to improve. To me that’s what stands out here!
I’ve been lifting on and off for ten years and would always grow bored with the programs I tried. I felt like most programs were geared toward men and also toward lifting heavy weight, fast. I wanted a program with a nice app, that had variation month to month and that I could stick with overtime. I also didn’t want to be pressured to look a certain way. This is it for me! I’ve been doing Sohees 3x a week program for 8 months and feel stronger than ever. I love the gifs to check my form and also appreciate that each exercise has alternate options. Great program, great app and seriously stellar customer support.
I have ADHD, and Sohee’s programming provides exactly the balance between structure and variety I need to stay interested and motivated. I’ve been using her programs for a few years now, but I’d recently hit an executive function wall when I needed to enter the workouts into my tracking app. This app eliminates that issue entirely and lets me dive right into the workouts without any mental barriers. It’s a godsend in helping me get back into a routine again. My only request would be an in-app rest timer, but honestly that’s such a small thing compared to all the other great things the app offers.
Say goodbye to program hopping and feeling lost with your workouts! Momentum by Sohee, the program created by fitness expert Sohee Carpenter, is now a...
