I was diagnosed with prediabetes so I decided to change my diet and begin monitoring blood glucose. The Gluco X Pro I have works with this app so I installed it on my iphone. It is a simple app that captures measurements from an Oxiline device via bluetooth and saves it to a log. For the Gluco, at least, it only pairs and captures data if you insert the test strip THEN launch the app. There is No Save Button and sometimes the transferred data is saved sometimes not, there is no confirmation to let you know. Not sure why but there is quite a delay in the log displaying newly transferred data. You can enter data manually if necessary but you may have to hit Save Data button several times until it tells you it is saved? It has a basic charting function which is interesting but some values are not charted for some reason. Useful but clearly a work in progress.

I have the pressure x pro and I am a techie but struggled to get the Bluetooth connected. Then, I finally get it connected, but the app is not grabbing stored readings from the device. I called support and it turns out the app will ONLY store readings collected LIVE. The device says connected in the app and has a green icon by my device in the app, which changes to disconnected when the device goes to sleep. If I hit any button on the device to wake it up, the app says connected with green again. However, nothing in the app changes when I run a new reading in live mode. Finally, we force quit the app and was able to collect a live reading . Once the reading collected in live mode showed up in the log, Apple health was updated! Support rep says that the ‘says connected but not really connected’ bug will be fixed soon, but there is no feature that will allow the app to grab stored readings from the device…these have to be entered in the app manually if I want the app to update Apple health. Device seems to be accurate, which is what I mainly want as I change blood pressure doseage, but I am really disappointed in the app. Please fix it and I will be a big supporter!

I read Tyraelos’s review, hoping to troubleshoot my problem, which is exactly the same as this person. The app and the device will simply not sync like ever if you open the device first and then the app yes it sinks but just for a little bit and then it disconnects. The manufacturer responded saying things have been fixed, but they have not been fixed. I’m very disappointed. I spent a lot of money on this. My suggestion is maybe look elsewhere. **since this last post, I did hear from the developer, but unfortunately, none of the problems were solved. However, I have developed a little routine to make things more bearable. Before I take my blood pressure I first put the cuff on me and prep myself. Then I open up the app. Then I turn on the machine. That gives me plenty of time to be able to lock in my results. I hope this helps somebody, anybody. ***I just heard again from the developer and they said that they have fixed all of these issues as long as you have updated firmware and an updated app. I do have updated firmware. I do have an updated app and no the machine does not automatically start taking readings once you turn it on and no the connectivity issues are still there.
