This is the worst shopping app I’ve ever encountered, no lie. I fumble around trying to determine if I'm eligible for savings. It’s difficult to tell on this thing. Many, many times now I’ve discovered (after buying the items, of course)that there were “deals” I was supposed to clip but couldn’t find in the app.
I loved Balduccis and used to shop there all the time, several times a week. It had good products, good service and the simple monthly $10 or 10% off reward. Now, I go once a month, if that. Still good products, but the process at checkout with this app is too convoluted. I think the company wants to advertise these so-called savings but doesn’t want to give them to shoppers. Why else would they design something like this? It’s kind of insulting.

What a pain in the neck this app is. One of the worst I’ve used. If you don’t do everything exactly in the right order the right way it doesn’t work. I have a hard time every time in the store. Other shoppers have agreed with this assessment.

After speaking with an Albertson’s customer service rep, it appears someone may have been using the rewards points accumulated under my phone number. There are 2 accounts assigned to my phone number - this should not happen. When I logged in using my number, someone else had entered his name and email into the account, and my points balance was zero - even though customer service confirmed that points accumulated from my prior purchases. This is a terrible customer experience. Please go back to the old rewards system managed by the cashier. Someone at Albertson’s should look into this security bug: look for any phone number with more than one account and investigate. Also check your validation process when adding a phone number to an existing email account.
UPDATE June 3, 2023 - App has still not fixed identity / security issues. I can see someone else’s purchases from a different state posting to my account (I assume they can also see mine).
