Lumhaa: The Memory Jar App

This app has it all. I love making lists and collections and use a whole ecosystem of apps to manage photos, written notes, linked media etc and with Lumhaa I can do all of those things in one place. Also those memories center on relationships and people or experiences and it’s cool that I can create specific memory jars for those contexts. I like the focus on small groups and privacy — I don’t like sharing private memories / media publicly and am looking forward to making memory jars for my closest friend circles. I’m thinking of using it for my food & fitness log too. It feels so personal & straightforward — love it!

Really love this app! I'm not just talking about the cute and straightforward UI design, but also the ingenious concept that helps me commemorate my experiences and emotions, and various features that organize my memories in intuitive ways. Lumhaa helps me stow away my daily experiences and emotions in little memory jars, be it with a short sentence, a voice memo, a picture, or a video. I can cherish the memories myself, and I can choose to share some of them with my friends and loved ones. I especially love my memories are automatically organized by time of logging, time of occurrence, and location. With such handy feature I am able to literally find and relive my memories through time and space.

I absolutely love Lumhaa! I stumbled upon this and initially just wanted a place where I could sort through my photos without having the pressure of making them public. Jars are a perfectly intuitive way to do just that. Then I made one with my family. Now instead of having all the photos in our family group message, which makes it almost impossible to retrieve older photos we just update the family jar. Can't imagine life without Lumhaa now! Developers did a great job making such a fun and elegant way to store and sort memories big and small!
