LiveStatus - App for couples

So me and my partner have had this app for a while, and there’s a process thru which you can add a widget on your phone and send pictures to each other that show up on the widget, so you can see each other in different settings, with different filters/frames, etc (kinda like Snapchat but more wholesome) except, while I’m abroad, the app randomly stopped working, and the only functions that do work still are the status setting and pet settings, and don’t even get me started on the whole cash-grab-to-keep-your-pet-Alive-thru-ads system. Overall, it was a nice app to use, but unless the problem gets solved with relative efficiency and speed, it’s not recommended to others and there are plenty of other apps that do the same exact stuff better and more extensively

My boyfriend and I got this app because we thought it would be a cute way to keep up with each other throughout the day. It was great in the beginning, even when you had to pay for most of the statuses we still just selected the free options. But now we have a pet on the app that we literally cannot keep alive. They give you one resource a day that barely fills up the health bars. You have to pay for resources and you can only watch one ad a day to receive resources. I understand that monetization is a big thing, but there should at least but a way to keep your pet alive and healthy without spending money. Even if that means watching additional ads, it’s honestly crazy that you have a limit on the amount of ads you can watch when all other apps have unlimited ad watching options. This app genuinely leaves you no choice but you spend money on it, which I’m not interested in doing. I just hate watching my pet suffer.

I haven’t had it long, and I paired it with my boyfriend we both have been enjoying it, which makes me very happy. We both add the widgets to our home screen and lock screen and it’s so fun. For the time I don’t have the subscription version which gives you access to a lot more like, more feelings, locations, etc. Also one thing that I think would be really cool is to have the accessibility of putting it on your Apple watch so if I’m working out and I can’t have my phone directly on me, I can see in the mood of my boyfriend still; I would love that.
