RXLive - NHS prescriptions

I can’t log in with face recognition. It doesn’t remember my password. The workers could not be lovelier, but the app fails at basics. The result is very slow turnaround times. Plus I have to order once my prescriptions are signed. There doesn’t appear to be a working automatic delivery for the signed prescription to just travel through automatically. Frustrating if you’re not in good health and need medication quickly.

Deliveries have gotten slower and slower. My latest order was approved on the 22 August and only just been marked as out for delivery so on 02 September. That’s after waiting for GP to action it at there end too. I can only order my meds on day 25 of a 28 day medication so waiting 3 days for gp approval and a further 10+ days for delivery is leaving me unmedicated! This could potentially end up being dangerous for patients who need to take regular doses, thankfully I had reserves in stock to tide me over. I will be looking for an alternative service, my previous provider had my items to me within 24hrs of script approval but they sadly closed.

I have Addisons and Hypothyroidism , and about a month ago signed up on this app. The sign up process was incredible easy (I didn’t even need my NHS number) and with a few minutes had added the meds to my repeat prescription request. I was nervous whether it would work, as I rely on the meds to stay alive, and was ready to go to the GP to get the prescription filled the “old-fashioned” way. However, I really didn’t need to worry! I’d asked for them be delivered on the 25th, and the box arrived today (24th). All my usual brands are included. I’ve set it up so I receive the prescription every 8 weeks, so I can now sit back and relax ( especially important as due to the Addisons I need to avoid stress!) Very impressed and raving about it to everyone I know!
