Downloaded app and registered and placed order. The received e mail saying I needed to contact pharmacy to approve my nomination. Unfortunately the “contact pharmacy” link in email went nowhere. Google searched to get local pharmacy contact details. I call and get automated message”for shop press 1 for pharmacy press 2.” I press 2 and get “number not recognised”. I redial and press 1 and speak to lady in shop who says I need to speak to pharmacy and call cannot be transferred. I explain the option 2 result to be told they are aware of this and automated message should say 3 not 2!. I redial and press 3 and speak to pharmacy who confirm my order is being processed and she does not know why I was advised to contact them regarding a nomination. Easier to fill up repeat prescription for and hand in to surgery!
I order my grandmother’s repeat prescription regularly to the Worcester Park branch via this app, and we have never had any issues with the service. It’s much quicker than requesting the repeats through the GP. We receive email updates and push notifications when the medication is approved and ready for collection, which is usually the next day. Incredible app and staff! Would highly recommend!
A complete waste of time and effort. Am deleting this app because it is completely unfit for purpose. Ordered my medication the first time and eventually ran out still waiting. Got all sorts of excuses from the pharmacy blaming the doctors, doctors insisting they had no request from the pharmacy. Had to go to the doctors surgery and get the Precriptions myself. So a month later ordered the medications again and ran out waiting again. App still showing it’s “waiting for approval” even though I have had to contact the doctors again myself only to find the prescription was sent to the pharmacy 3 days ago. Went in today and waited for it to be filled. Later today the app sent me a reminder to order my prescription !!! There must be a pharmacy out there that just delivers repeat prescriptions on time and reliably because Superdrug doesn’t seem to be able to. By the way don’t bother with the feedback on the app because they don’t respond.
