My Oasis: Anxiety Relief Game

I really enjoy this game a lot. The music is customizable like a jukebox and relaxing to listen to, and, you even get a piano scale and the option to do games where you listen for the musical note and select the right notes, which, for any musicians or hobbyists out there, is a wonderful way to keep the ear trained, and the finger tapping isn’t a bad way to keep the fingers exercised in this game. I end up using four fingers to tap for more hearts, and it’s a good way to get the movement in during my spare time. The visuals are also absolutely beautiful. I love sky and sea things, and love it even more when you put them together and get that fantasy / sci-fi vibe with space / sky ships, sky lands, and marine animals in the sky or space. This game features a beautiful sky whale, and I absolutely love it. Would also love a sky ship and a sky manta ray, I feel like that would also be an amazing addition. The weather is also customizable, if you want rain, stars, sunshine, sunset, a rainbow, or an aurora borealis. This game is such a relaxing way to unwind and get my mind off things. This game really does what it aims to do: calm my anxiety. The animals are sweet, and sometimes say wise or funny things. Sometimes I find myself nodding at the good advice, other times I find myself heart-touched by a sweet synchronicity, or, I find myself arguing with the “fun facts” like “no way” haha, or thinking wow that’s interesting information. It’s such a nice way to get my mind off of more stressful topics— I’d rather argue with the game about whether camels store water in their humps, than think of the stresses of daily life all day every day. This game is a helpful tool for unwinding for me.

The game is great but lately when I log in for the first time of the day it won’t give me a rest bonus like at all and I’ve been really spending a lot getting my virtues upgraded and sometimes it just decides it won’t give me any hearts when I log back in please fix this if it keeps happening I’ll stop playing cause that’s a big part of how you get hearts in the game I’ve been thinking about spending money on the game but not until that gets fixed Keeps doing it even when it’s not the first time I log in for the day really getting annoying the game is cool but literally is built so taps are basically pointless for gaining stars late in the game like I have tap level 1000 and treasure bonuses for taps upgraded but it give you almost nothing in compared to what I have like a couple Fs when I have Hs? It doesn’t even move either make the auto tap less expensive 2.99 is the highest it should be for a feature that should be standard in a game meant to relax you instead I literally shake my body sometimes to tap fast and for nothing virtues are the only way to really get hearts and it picks and choices when you get them after logging back in? Fix the game y’all are clearly allowing many issues to go unsolved either cause y’all don’t want to or aren’t capable of fixing them either way it’s sad I clearly see it’s just a money grab with all the little things it wants you to pay for and all the ads you have to watch

I very rarely leave reviews on games, but I just thought I’d spread the word about this one. I’ll start with the music - I find it even more calming than Weightless by Marconi Union, which is scientifically proven to reduce stress by 35%. And the little messages from the animals aren’t like other motivational quotes. Something about it feels... authentic. Not faked or forced. This game got me through a very difficult time in my life when I was enduring a terrible Anxiety/PANDAS flare, and on top of that I was moving out of the house I had spent my entire life in. Please don’t brush this off as ‘another stress relief game’ because it’s so much more than that. It’s more than a game. It’s genuinely so therapeutic, not just for the moment but in all. It just gives you such a sense of calm and wellbeing. And if the developers are reading this - thank you so much for what you’re doing. Never lose sight of what you’ve done and will do. I see lots of good apps get ruined by greed but I don’t think that will happen to this game. Please, keep up the good work. I know it’s helped me. And to anyone thinking about getting this game, I swear I cannot recommend it enough, it’s like virtual therapy. Please don’t pass it up.
