Tappy: Self Care Fidgeter

So I never thought I would make a review on this app but I really wanted too. I downloaded Tappy around 2ish years ago, this was before the developer put in as much as they have at this rate (awesome stuff BTW!) but I loved the haptic response and the obvious love for figuring out how programming these games, fidgets, etc, work! Since then, I have bought the upgraded version since I love the app so much! Now that the dev(s) have added the relax feature I am legit hooked to this app, it’s honestly so relieving to see how much care a solo dev has given this project and I cannot recommend this app enough whether your just needing something to help ground you or make you breath easier and feel relaxed or just feeling fidgety I seriously recommend giving this app a try! Note: the only real bug I have faced is the actual Tappy portion where over the years when getting more clicks of Tappy I have experienced more and more lag. It started off minor but now it is pretty laggy but this also may just be me? Idk hopefully this does not happen to you though!

Writing in your entry made me feel a lot better. I feel like I have my own online therapist but on my own time and when I’m ready to talk. I love this app so much! It has really been helping me with quitting vaping recently and hopefully some more unhealthy habits along the way! I recommend this app for anyone trying to find a new resource for their addictions or unhealthy habits. With a ONE time purchase of $2.99, you can unlock EVERY FEATURE!!! It’s rarely ever that easy! Apps asking for monthly purchases and even after you’ve paid once there is still more to unlock you would have to pay more for! This is a true mental health app for stress and anxiety sufferers at the main forefront, not the money. No payments and random offers are popping up constantly after your purchase, interrupting ur experience. I’ve only had this app for a couple days now but, seriously I can not recommend this app enough. It is a brilliantly designed app and so much fun to be interactive with your Tappy everyday. It’s an affordable price for an incredible quality of mental health care.

I am autistic, and have very intense sensory issues. I have a very difficult time with change as well. I recently updated my iphone, and while I got to customize my lock screen font and all that, I lost a very important feature to me. Swiping up on the lock screen would cause a slight haptic, a blink if you will. The phone would slightly bump, and it was incredibly important to me to feel on a regular basis. I lost it. In an effort to retrieve it, I went to my local Xfinity store and after 40 minutes of attempting to retrieve this haptic, we were unsuccessful. As a last ditch effort to find something that would act as this haptic once did, the Xfinity employee went to the app store and we discovered this app. He downloaded it, and said “give this a try.” I held the phone, clicked the icon and immediately teared up. It was the exact bump I had lost, and in only two days I have tapped over six thousand times. The app is easy to use, and the icon is very cute. It would be wonderful if there were the option to have it as a widget on my home screen, but I will take what I can get. This app saved me weeks of severe discomfort, and for that I thank the creators.
