Stumbled across the dev on TikTok and was amazed they built the game and the engine! Super welcoming and their game is really fun. The mutations really make the matches feel like anything can happen, and when you're evenly matched it really feels like anyone can come out with the win. Only suggestion, maybe I missed it, but a starter guide book mapping out some of the types and what some of the items do would be helpful when getting started. Or even like a pokédex style where once i've used something it logs it with some more info i can geek out over. Art style is super cute, and you can tell there's a lot of love put into this game!
As a new player I really wish the matchups were ranked. Each new game I’ve been decimated by the player that is #1 on the leaderboard. Other than that the art is cute, the sound design is very pleasing, and the goo creation is so much fun to discover. The rounds are quite fast so it’s a great game that can easily fit into any morsel of free time one might have. The unlockables that can be earned with in game currency is a great drive to keep playing.
Great game to play to chill out. No spamming buttons or a ton of rules and no quick time actions so great for kids and relaxing. Animation is also super cute! I like that the in app purchases are not needed for a full gameplay experience. They are fun but you won't be at a disadvantage without them like some other mobile games.
