Glitches that have kept me trying to make an order online for an hour while on hold for help from Nations Benefits, the purveyor of this app. Terrible experience!!! First not being able to use Safeway then not being able to use Misfits. Same issue, not allowing me to complete my order. I was so happy last year with my OTC Grocery card. This Nations Benefits card is a horrible experience. It came thirty days late and I cannot find the things I need and when I do find some things, it keeps rejecting my order. Finally it went through after over an hour trying and after taking out an item that required further payment by credit card. This was a very bad move by my health insurance to change the provider to this Nations Benefits. The old provider was so easy to use and find many food items easily and quickly directly from store websites that I actually wanted! This card doubles the price on many items. It is shameful, and clearly the focus is on making lots of money off of the card holders. Amy’s organic soups for 6,66 for one can, which is almost double the regular price and 4.79 for one avocado! And there is nothing we can do to change the provider! It’s going to be at least a year contracted with this inferior provider. Now while waiting and writing this, I’ve been on hold for an hour and forty minutes and no one is helping me! This is really awful! I’d give this Nations Benefits organization below zero stars if I could! So incompetent, unprofessional and ill prepared to serve! And the food won’t even be delivered until five days from now from Misfits market!

Update June 26, 2024: so the scanner on my app is working now. I decided to scan some products. I’ve already purchased with my OTC card, and the scanner told me the products were not eligible. this app is not useful to me if it’s not going to tell me which products are actually eligible. Previous review: My scanner still won’t work. If I search for a product, then I click on it the Apple freeze, and then if I restart the app, it will crash. There’s not enough of a selection on the app making you have to go to the store, which doesn’t help if the scanner isn’t working I wish I could shop directly on the stores website like we used to be able to do with Walmart online. it was much more convenient for me since I am unable to drive and I need help in the store because I am legally blind. i’ve even tried reaching out to the developer with an email address that I saw that they developer replied with on one of these reviews, but I never got a response. at this point, I’m really irritated with this app Update May 10,2024 I’m going to start adding dates because I posted this review weeks ago and the app isn’t fixed. This isn’t my first post either. I posted a review over a month ago. I’ve called Nations Benefits and they said they put a ticket on for the developer and I also tried emailing the developer again and got no response. I’ve noticed that the developer has replied to some of these reviews but never to mine.

I give the app 4 stars because, it was very easy to shop and checkout. A small hiccup when placing my order with the 3 things I wanted left me owing $3.00 . It was my last $65 on the card. The $3 popped up in all red letters and when I pulled out my personal bank card …. I couldn’t find a place to enter my info. So, rather than calling customer service AGAIN ~ I just decided to take off two items and went with the larger purchase in my shopping cart. Furthermore, I have been having the awfullest experience at any store I go to use this card for cold & flu items!!!!! It would have helped me to know I shouldn’t have went to the self check line. Anyway thanks to the one cashier ( A Kroger Employee)who felt sorry for me and pushed my last purchase threw even though the cash register refused my whole order. Thanks for read.
