This app is one of the strangest things I’ve ever experienced. Strange, because I don’t understand how it exists. It doesn’t make sense. I was almost sure it wouldn’t really work, or that it would be terrible doctors. I mean it’s an app. How am I going to get real and personal medical care downloaded from the Apple store. But...it’s...real somehow. I really waited just a few minutes (instead of days or weeks for my pcp) and a doctor pops on my screen. (To be fair, I haven’t asked for their license #s and checked it up yet- but hoping that since its connected to a large insurance company, they wouldn’t risk the huge lawsuits of hiring fake doctors). So far they seem competent and have been on the mark with the diagnoses. But here’s the strangest part. I kept waiting for the bills to come in the mail. They never did. So I checked my invoices in the app and it said $0.00 What??? How is this free? Is it just a benefit for paying my insurance premiums? Sheesh. so worth it. So long as I can afford it, I’m sticking with this insurance now. (Unless I’m mistaken about how this all works) Its worth the monthly premium $ to not have days of anxiety or worry while waiting for a doc appointment. I was also able to call in at 10pm about a UTI and the prescription was sent over to my pharmacy in minutes. UTIs get worse by the hour and can be dangerous. This saved me from having to sit in a covid filled emergency room all night to solve that prob. So so so grateful!

I’m a single mother with a 16-month-old baby. It’s extremely difficult in general finding time to address your healthcare needs.,, and even wanting to bring your infant into urgent to be exposed to all Those contagious germs. It’s not even being a single mother, or parent, but just being an everyday American adult that has responsibilities and obligations to go to Work and provide an income. tend to their families, be present in school lectures, care for sick or elderly parents . you name it and some how find the time to sit for hours in urgent care waiting room or even a full entire day in the emergency room. I do understand that there are certain circumstances that you do need to go into a clinic and so on but when it comes to just the every day little things this is the perfect tension and the perfect solution for people to continue to care for them selves and there medical needs, while continuing to accomplish their daily priorities and even travel knowing that there is a doctor available wherever they are at anytime of the day 24 seven. I have only use this app thank goodness twice but the doctors have been nothing but kind professional and highly concerned on treating their clients just as if you were in a room with them. This network recognizes the need of addressing clients health!!! And diminishing the overall Outcome of a minor rash, conjunctivitis, cough become a life-threatening condition because they accommodate their clients!

Service is quick, easy and efficient. I am a firefighter and In my line of work I frequently get poison oak, this is a fast and simple way to get meds on board before the rash spreads! I’ve been 300+ miles away from home fighting fires and been able to speak with a doctor then pick up a prescription in my fire truck with no interruption to my job. Breathing in all the smoke we do, I frequently get sinus infections and this is the easiest way to get antibiotics before the infection turns into bronchitis, cough, and a fever etc... If you are sick and know what you need this is the service for you. If you don’t know what your issue is and need tests and prefer 1 on 1 with a Doctor in person, this probably isn’t for you. If you live a long distance from an Urgent Care Clinic or you have little ones at home and don’t have someone to watch them while you go to the doctor, this might be a better option. No one wants to lug healthy kids into a waiting room full of sick patients to sit and wait for hours to be seen... I have only had 1 time using Teladoc where it took 15 minutes to get a call back. The consultation went fine but the clinical team was backlogged so it took over 20+ hours for my pharmacy to receive the prescription. Had I picked a 24hr pharmacy, it might not have taken as long. Typically from the time I submit a request for a consultation to the time I receive a text from my pharmacy letting me know my medication is ready for pick up is about 20 minutes.
