A few basic things that should be easy to accomplish on this APP are difficult or non-existent. One: the card won’t add to Apple Wallet, ‘try again later’ always comes up for months. Two: Can’t order a replacement card from the APP, ‘ Sorry, but order ID card isn’t available right now, Please try again later.’, again tried for months. View Prior Authorization comes up as ‘there was a problem loading the screen you asked for’. A lot needs be done to get this APP up to a basic standard.

The “premium” feature is never available so I can’t use the app to pay my monthly bill. Do you want your money or not? I should not have to get out my check book and mail a check or make a phone call where I will be on hold for god knows how long. The “find care” feature doesn’t load. I can’t look up primary care physicians. The other day I needed to find an urgent care that took my insurance and these wouldn’t load either. My digital insurance card doesn’t load. My medical history won’t load. I tried using the support chat for help and got an error message there as well. It’s infuriating. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It still doesn’t work. BCBS is a multibillion dollar corporation - fix it. Now.

but this one makes it more complicated. I thankfully kept my old insurance card in my wallet since the “virtual only” ID card is rarely available, will not load onto my phone wallet, and will not allow me to request a physical card. Payments, checking claims, seeing an UPDATED total on deductibles, figuring out why I had to pay hundreds of dollars instead of the listed $50 (apparently the small print was in invisible digital ink but I failed to print anything and just have it handwritten from talking to a rep) and other things I’ve needed have been unavailable since we rolled into the new year. The past 3 years I had to call only once but this year I’ll be on call number three tomorrow unless there’s a miracle and I can pay premiums in the app. Please fix the functionality or just revert the platform back to the way it actually worked in 2024.
