Sky Go – Companion App

After 10 attempts at watching on sky go I deleted the app and am trying again. It’s fine when you get the program but seems sky don’t really want you to receive it. Frustrating App

Annoying that when you start casting a show via your phone onto a tv. The app always jumps to the sky open channel instead of sticking to what you had selected when you open your phone. Volume coming through to the tv starts loud until I turn it down. Don’t get me wrong a great improvement for sky but still a couple of things that need sorting.

To watch tv on the app it used to stay on the last station you were watching. Now it always flips to sky open, even if I am streaming and I happen to touch my iPad, it flips back to sky open. It’s terrible interface considering how much we pay. All the free tv apps are far superior. I hate it and constantly want to ditch sky purely for this reason. Terrible thing is it’s an upgrade that turned up about a year ago, prior to that it was great and would open on the last thing you were watching… for me just news
