I love my Mira device and tracker! Ive had very few issues and when I have, the support team has been super fast and helpful. I have learned so much about my cycle which I wouldn’t have known otherwise. I would give it 5 stars but I do think the app could be improved a bit. I notice on my chart that Ill frequently get incorrect notes. It will say a reading is very consistent with my prior cycle when it isn’t or will say it’s way different when it’s almost exactly the same. It will also tell me a level is surging even higher, to retest again layer that day, when the level in fact is actually lower than the last reading. I also noticed my predicted ovulation day is frequently “confirmed” but when looking at the readings, it isn’t possible or is apparent I didn’t yet. Once it does hit later, it adjusts itself so not a problem there. I understand it doesn’t know until it happens but as someone who apparently ovulates late (great to know by the way, thanks Mira!), I expected it to auto adjust more now that I’ve been through 3 cycles. Maybe it will with more data? The last thing I have noticed is now that I have bought the Max wands and used them, my schedule has turned to all purple dots, to only use those wands from here on out. I will continue to buy them moving forward as it is great to only have to do one test and saves time! However, I have plenty of confirm and plus wands I would like to finish using so would appreciate the option to see the old view as well since some days do not need all 3 readings. The wands are not cheap so I plan to use each one!
I’ve been using this product for about a month now, and it’s great so far, but I agree with some other reviews that says it would be great if you could also track/graph BBT in the app. I’m using the wands that track LH and EG3…I would also say the app isn’t that great, as previous reviewers noted…I do like the graph and the score, but it would be great if the app gave you some sort of insight after your numbers come in (the way the Glow app does)…you have to go hunting and reading in the FAQs to find out what the scores mean…and I’ve tracked almost a whole cycle and I’ve gotten no notifications or anything…just the hormone test scores, which I have no clue what they mean…so I’m going to keep using it, as it was pricey…and hopefully we’ll get lucky!! Edit. The mira support team is super helpful and nice. They’ve provided me with a ton of info to fill in the gaps. And I think this is my 3rd or 4th cycle using the device and it’s finally making some sense, and finally it was in line with my OPKs and the glow app. Biggest gripes right now are the incessant buy more wands ads on the screen every time I open the app. STOP! 😂. Love the charting.
The premise of this device is great, and the hormone values themselves help with understanding my cycle. The issue is, the analyzer will repeatedly disconnect from my phone and not sync the data. I have contacted support repeatedly and each time get the same generic instructions, including to reset the analyzer. Even following all the steps they outline to check the connection, this sometimes works and sometimes does not. One day it will work perfectly, and the next the analyzer and my phone will not talk. It also likes to shut itself off and refuse to work when it still has 20% battery power, and I have also had instances where I’ve had to waste expensive wands because it throws error codes, or I get readings that make absolutely no sense (like my estrogen going from 150+ to less than 10 then back up to 150+ next wand). For an expensive device and expensive wands to use the device, they need to do better. I will add that I have an iPhone 12 mini, so my phone is not the problem with the synchronization. EDIT AFTER RESPONSE: As I’ve explained in multiple support tickets. There are no other Bluetooth devices in the area. The analyzer screen is on. I have my phone sitting literally right next to it. But one day the analyzer works, and the next it does not. It’s not invalid readings showing up, it’s simply saying “analyzer disconnected” no matter what I do, and it’s at random.
