Cube Out 3D :Jam Puzzle

I love this game and have spent many hours playing it and it helped with boredom while recovering from a procedure but once you complete all the houses and get all the puzzles finished, there is nothing else that is entertaining about it because the thrill of finishing the puzzle or house is gone. I’ve been playing this game for months and the developers have only added two new houses while we’re completed right away because I continued to play to complete the puzzles. I’ve read other reviews saying the same from months ago. We all know it’s not a money issue because I know I watch enough ads to contribute to that and those that pay for no ads also contribute to the funds. It’s about laziness and not carrying about your consumer base or experience. It’s about wanting it all to yourselves and not expanding the game for your consumer base. This is not the only instance I’ve seen when it comes to games unfortunately but you would think after enough low star reviews, you’d actually put time into the game you created. I’m more than willing to update to my review ONCE the game is actually updated and there’s more than two new things added. You can add new things for us to buy but you can’t actually add to your game to keep it interesting so we want to continue to play? Way to speak volumes on what you truly care about which is the money you generate and nothing else.

Almost all the 2D art in this game is AI generated, which is really insulting and disheartening to see as an artist. They also couldn’t even bother to make sure their AI generated images even make sense to look at, and often have very glaring issues that make them easy to identify as AI. Additionally, the game constantly forces you to watch ads. Beat a level? Watch an ad. Lose a level? Watch an ad. Lose a level but want to continue playing? Watch an ad. It gets really annoying after a while because no matter what to do, you are always forced to watch an ad. I wanted to like this game, truly, but the more I play it the more it becomes glaringly obvious that it’s just a cash grab made to make money through ad revenue and micro-transactions while putting very little money into the quality of the game (like, know, getting a robot to do all the artwork for you rather than paying someone in an industry that already makes it hard to be financially stable and then being to lazy to quality-check your already lazy robot-made “artwork” to make sure it looks decent)

this is by far the best screw jam puzzle in the app store BUT i do have some things i wish could chanfor instance, past a certain level (somewhere in the 200’s) the puzzles become less interesting. the get harder, sure. but there are very little “see through” puzzles (the little colorful see through plates) which were the most fun for me. the fun little characters become few and far between as well. at one point i had the cheeseburger stack and a birthday cake and those were both so fun. i wish the puzzles would still be cute and fun and not all cubes in the higher levels. that’s what kept my interest the most. i also wish i could go back and replay my favorite levels. other than that i stand by my 5/5 ranking.
