SMASH Badminton

The game is pretty fun but simple, with gameplay not really having any issues and the interface being alright. I don’t have a problem with the game. It can be challenging though. I also don’t get too many ads as I play.

The devs are very greedy. Do not waste your money on this game. I actually liked the gameplay enough to support the developers and bought a pack from the shop, assuming that—like any decent game (e.g., 8 Ball Pool)—making a purchase would remove the constant, forced ads. I was wrong. These developers are "double dipping." They take your $1.00 for a pack and then STILL force you to watch 30-second ads after every single match. They hide the "No Ads" feature behind a separate $4-5 paywall. It’s pure greed. If a developer doesn’t respect a paying customer enough to stop shoving ads down their throat, they don’t deserve your time or your wallet. There are plenty of other games that actually value their players. Save your dollar and your time—don't give it to people who are just hungry for every cent you have.

I usually dony write reviews unless a game has a lot of potential just some major issues standing in the way of a great game. Firstly, you never fight real people. You can play on airplane mode or SOS mode and it just looks like you are playing real people but you arent. Secondly, your character dives A LOT for no reason at all, the birdie could be right next to you and you go to hit it an your character dives randomly and it causes you to lose. This happens so often its frustrating and makes it hard to enjoy the game. Thirdly, there is this weird thing where your character ramdomly goes to the right corner of the net and no matter what you try and do they just stay there and half the time it wont even let you swing when you are there and the other half of the time you can only hit the birdie out no matter what you do it goes either way too far left or way too far right. Fourth, because you are always playing against AI it makes it really hard to play the game in a fun way, you can try to hit the birdie left or right to switch it up but no matter what your opponent just hits it to the opposite corner and more often than not there is nothing your character can do about it. Fifth, i feel like the idea of upgrading stats is cool and all but it can create a very negative experience if for some reason the game decides to give you and AI with way better stats than you have. Like I said, this game has HUGE potential because it is so fun and addicting but it has some serious kinks to work out before it becomes a game worthly of 5 stars. Devs if you really care about this game please look into solving some of these issues. I know I am not the only one having issues like this and the game is so close to being a 5 star game. Please please please look into fixing these bugs.
