Terry White

I don't usually give reviews on apps but I want to for Terry White. It's an amazing app! As long as you have a TW sign up and or log into your profile, you can put all of your scripts in either eScript or paper form. The scripts show up in your profile and you just click and collect from the comfort of your home and get a notification when they are ready to be picked up generally within the hour, but it also depends on how busy my little terry white is as we live in a rural regional area. I love the click and collect option, it's great. Also if you are away and run out of something script-wise, you can put an order in from the closest Terry White to pick it up or if you go in-store to place the order. All of your repeats also stay on your profile too! To this date, I have never had a negative experience ‘touch wood’ 5 stars for the app.

This review only gets one star as I can’t give it any lower. The day I installed the app it crashed my brand new iPhone. My phone is my lifeline as living with long term chronic and life limiting conditions a working phone is a necessity and my phone is also used to remotely send data to my car team due to having multiple devices implanted. I was without a working phone for several days. The app does not keep adequate track of your meds and on multiple occasions it told me I still had a repeat of 2 lifesaving meds which was incorrect. I could not access any medication till I saw my doc and as a patient with cardiomyopathy I need my meds. This nearly cost me my life. Not good enough . Never had an issue with the med advisor/ terry white app . Also when you copy and paste your e script number the app always says ‘ this does not look like a e script number and despite it being one it does not recognise it. It then says check again or try but it won’t work. Guess what it does work. Not easy for those who are not tech savvy as they would incorrectly assume the app was right, which it isn’t. Every staff member at any TWC who I have spoken to have said, the app was rushed out too early and patients have been put at risk and there was no need for it as the other one was great.

Terry White Pharmacy at Coorparoo is without doubt the VERY BEST PHARMACY I ever use. Believe me I know, because I’ve had a lot of health dramas in the past decade and I have needed more care and patient management than a normal customer at a pharmacy. TW Coorparoo are always very friendly. The staff all know me and the chemists are familiar with my extensive file and my health problems. This means I feel very well cared for and respected every time I need medicine. I never feel cross examined or peppered with irrelevant interrogation like what happens in some other pharmacies because Terry White takes the time to know their customer. Also surprisingly, their prices are excellent even though that’s not a major motivating factor for me. If that’s not enough, the absolute clincher is their use of technology. Their medicine dispensing machine “CONNIE” and script processing system is best in class. I’ve never seen another pharmacy with anywhere near the efficiency and excellence of service like this one when buying script medicine - I’m sure you’ll agree if you get your scripts there. In addition TWC has well trained staff at every level and a dedicated Nurse for vaccinations and a booking system to ensure everything can be done efficiently and on time.
