My first application review and I had to give 2 stars…This is only about the app, not about the company or its services. 2 stars for being able to do half of the basic tasks on the app, but having to switch to their websites because of everything I’m going to rant below. It looks neat and organized at first but the more you use it the more annoying it gets. I’m in software industry and this is getting on my nerves every time I try to use it and give it another chance. Sigh… Smaller things first: it swipes the page when you scroll, it’s slow to load when you click. Slightly annoying one: it randomly shuts down when you click on something and asks you to log back in even when I’m actively using it. The actual problem that makes small bugs above more irritating than they actually are: the app doesn’t provide as much info as their website. Trying to assign a provider would ask me to go to the site, i can’t add a doctor to my care team unless I use their website, doing these on their website I would then have to constantly see their little pop up to download their app, WHICH DOES NOT PROVIDE THESE FEATURES OR HIDES THEM SOMEWHERE THAT IS VERY HARD TO FIND. Why do you guys bother building an app at the first place if you don’t plan on having the important features deployed first???

CIGNA is a garbage company that is 100% out there for profits. They have denied every single my doctor has asked for my medication’s. Has forced us to go through the audit process for every single one. He recommended neuropsych to get more information so he could make the best decision possible. This was approved in March. I called all around town for three weeks and couldn’t find anyone that would take CIGNA. finally got on the phone with CIGNA. They recommended a place but it wasn’t referred by my doctor. I had to go back in for another appointment. I did. it became recommended that it was good. Doctor said it was good. It was just a six month wait. That appointment is Monday. I just got a phone call from them saying CIGNA has denied my approval saying they have deemed it’s not necessary. when I called CIGNA to challenge them on this denial, they said they don’t feel that it is necessary so it is denied. I waited a little over six months and have been struggling the entire time just to be told that it’s not going to be covered. Even though I was told over six months ago that it would be. I hate this company. I hope it burns to the ground. if you are planning on switching to CIGNA, I would recommend buying a cat or dog. You will most likely have better luck with your health with that you would anything that CIGNA is willing to help you with. I see the app developer has sent the blanket message that AI probably pre-generated. I have sent an email to that email. I will update this if anything happens.

UPDATE: The same customer service representative who tried to help me the first time called today to follow up. She waited as I tested and retested the process, which now functions as expected. Kudos to Cigna for fixing it and this particular CSR for following up with me. ORIGINAL COMMENTS: After getting a repeated login error message, three calls to Cigna tech support totaling 30 minutes, being told (twice) to delete and reinstall the app, being told to change my password using the website, being told to limit my password to 11 characters (despite the website instructions to make it 8-12 characters) because the app doesn’t handle 12-character passwords well, all to no avail... I give up and will just log into the Cigna page on AOL using my dial-up modem. Maybe they have a MySpace page or an island on Second Life where I can see my insurance information.
