I love the way we have local journalism still. I thought they would be gutted by now after they were acquired but the Post is still rockin and rollin. If you love local sports it’s a must have app.
I’m a paying subscriber and over the past month I’ve frequently found I can’t access the app at all b/c Denver Post INSISTS I update the app. I’ve updated twice this month and again it’s blocking me and demanding another update. Look, I’ll update an app infrequently unless that app has sensitive, personal, or financial info in it. There’s no possible way these REQUIRED updates are necessary for my security- your devs just like limiting users’ abilities unless we let you be controlling like this. It’s a nuisance and there’s nothing in it for me. Based on other reviews, it sounds like yodoing this in order to serve me ads — even though I’m a paying subscriber. Nasty.
Progressive bias, too much East Coast left wing blather. Local writing is lazy and too much opinion in what is supposed to be news. Most important is incomplete news- take the auto theft at DIA story on the 24 rth. We know nothing except some arrest were made. No who,, no why, very little how. Everyone wants to know, who are the people who are terrorizing out city? The Denver Post and the Police know but don’t say. So really, what is the point of existing as a newspaper. One more thing, curtailing comments on articles was the biggest cowardly act by your newsroom. In many cases, local people who knew what really happened filled in the parts of the story that you either omitted for political purposes or were just to lazy to ask questions and find out. You are a shame and disgrace to news reporting. Please do your job and and inform accurately so the rest of us can decide. Is that too much to ask?
