We moved from Vermont to Colorado Springs a month ago, and immediately searched for our news and information “embassy.” KCCR has given us windows into our new community’s history, culture, and entertainment, while keeping us apprised of national news in reliable, balanced NPR fashion. We are particularly enjoying Colorado Matters and Colorado Postcard. You make it easy to assimilate into a new home! Happy to be lifelong supporters of NPR, wherever we live!
Overall love CPR. The app is very usable, if a little visually outdated. One minor bug: some stories occasionally get stuck at the top of the feed until well after they are relevant news. No discernible pattern as to which ones get stuck or why. More of a nuisance than anything, but worth noting nonetheless. Will happily update my rating to 5 stars if/when that minor bug is resolved. Support free public media in any way you can!
The new app has a much more user-friendly interface and appears to have significantly improved stability. I use the app daily for access to news and the homepage button showing the current show and allowing me to connect immediately works simply and reliably. I like the layout that allows me to easily search news stories and links to podcasts and shows. This app is now worthy of the great news, programming, and people at CPR.
