Reviews: What People Think About Hers: Women’s Healthcare

I put in a time for a reminder to log my daily intakes and I can’t change the time from am to pm? So it’s requesting me to log for that same day at 8am and I haven’t even started my day yet. Also you can’t go back to see or edit anything from the previous days in case you did forget to log your daily progress. It would help if you had it set up where you can not only view your weigh in progress but your water, protein, sleep and movement. And the sliding scale should be number related instead so that people can be more honest with themselves and actually see the progress they have been making with their eating, exercising, water and sleep. Maybe give options on the movement (walk, bike, weights) as well as protein (red meat, fish, chicken, pork) The app is great for information and additional training but taking such a big step I think people want to be held accountable and be able to actually see where their progress is going not only on the scale but in everything else. I have to use another app to log all that stuff in right now because I can’t change anything on this app. Just a suggestion but I think you would see a whole lot more people logging in their health and fitness more actively.

The “doctors” hired by this app do not properly explain the risk or side effects or give reasonable information for the drugs they are prescribing. You will most likely get a diagnosis that an in clinic doctor would not have given you. This is because this is functioning as sole for profit industry that does not have your well-being or healthcare in mind. They are selling a subscription service which is not made very clear. Furthermore there is not proper. Follow up through your “doctor” to tell if the prescribed medication is working for you so they will send you an order that you did not approve of. They do the thing that when you try to cancel your subscription they prompt you with many windows and the “cancel subscription” button is buried at the bottom of the window, not as an obvious hyperlink in the hopes that you’ll get confused and not actually cancel your subscription. You’re very dubious practices. They also make it very difficult to get a hold of customer service. If you call there will be no one available to take it will be suggested that you start messaging via their app or website, but if you go to, either of those places, there’s no way of initiating messaging other than via email. When I tried to cancel an order that (I didn’t not approve) was still in process and did not even have a tracking number associated with it I was told they would not be able to, and when I said that I will refuse the parcel from USPS customer service simply ghosted me.

After inputting all the needed information to receive help for hair loss, I was directed to a page where I had to input my credit card information. While I expected their services to be a paying service I thought they would have the opportunity for people to receive services through their health insurance. This wasn’t an option so I had to decline the service in general. Not everyone can afford $35 - $175 a month. I guess I had this assumption because I was a proud customer of online birth control for years and I received those services with my health insurance and NOT with monthly payments on a credit card or Apple Pay account. By not having an option for people to pay with health care insurance it excludes many people who need help health wise yet can’t obtain it due to their finances. It’s an endless cycle where only the “well off” can afford decent health care services (medicine, counseling, therapy, etc.) Thank you for reading. I will recommend this service to others because I can recognize the amazing potential within it but people should know ahead of time that Hers/Hims do not accept health insurance.
