Morty: Escape Rooms & Haunts

I cannot say enough about this app! If you’re an Escape Room Enthusiast (like myself), this app is for you! It has all of the features that you will need to find the perfect room for yourself, and for your family and friends. Whenever there are updates, they are for the best and always improve upon the app which include badges that you can earn, filters to narrow down the best escape rooms to your liking, and it tracks both escape rooms and haunts throughout the United States. Andy, the owner of the app, is such an amazing human being who is very attentive, specific, and has the fastest, most personable guest experience. Whenever there’s been bugs or discrepancies, Andy is ON IT! Prior to this app I was using Notes to keep track of the room, date, time escaped, who played, pictures, website, location, etc. Getting that all to format in a readable format was a pain, and then I found Morty. WOW as someone who likes to keep track of everything this app is a game changer! Always making improvements to the app and adding more features. So much future potential. My only problem with it is that there are not more escape rooms around me to play to be able to use this app more. But since this app I haven’t touched Google to search for escape rooms. This is my one and only source to find rooms nearby when out or on vacation. Excited to see this app become huge and really open the door for escape rooms.

I was very reluctant to start logging my Escape room progress on Morty just because I have A LOT to catch up on! 😂 But ok! I ended up started and getting hooked! It’ll be fun backtracking and staying up to date from here on out! I hope they add more features like making it easier to add experiences (and tracking the status with those hopefully getting added), add a second date to certain escape rooms I’ve done more than once to keep my count accurate (I only did that when a room added new features), and have an easier way to see your dates and pictures (the sort by date of experience tab doesn’t quite line things up accurately). I also liked the idea someone wrote in the feedback about having a number added to a review circle since that can affect how rooms are rated. I see a lot of great potential in this app! Thank you!
