The app is relatively intuitive, and not requiring a password by using an OTP instead is good. However, on the user end, when loading photos in support of a work order, the images sometimes successful uploads do not show, which causes customers to upload duplicative images. Also, while I understand, customers habitually put in every work order as an emergency, only allowing them to label their work orders as routine (current setup) only works if you’ve got someone monitoring the system for emergencies all the time.
This app needs some work. When submitting maintenance requests I have no option of submitting something other than what is hard coded. It really needs to have an “other” subcategory for every category. Additionally, when selecting a priority or category, if you accidentally move your finger the slightest bit down when clicking the small button to dismiss the pop up, the entire request is cancelled and all your typing is gone. It is not linked with other Hunt systems so I can see all requests, even those submitted in the office. As military, my balance always reflects my current rate so i never know if Hunt truly got paid. (Spoiler alert…those type of things happens in our pay system). The office staff dont take advantage of the announcements and instead use Facebook. What’s the point of it in the app…plus I don’t use FB so never know what is going on. Same goes with events. Overall this just seems like a way to submit maintenance issues and could easily be replaced with a website.
Housing Office never answers the phone. When they do they are pretty rude. A friend of mine spoke with someone over the phone about getting housing and they said there would be availability for July 27th. Once they put in the packet it changed to October but they offered them a different home that didn’t have anything they asked for at all. They asked me to go up to the office to see what happened to the other home or if they could get something similar. They asked for a 2 car newly constructed home and was sent an address from Michelle of a old house with 1 car garage. When I went up and asked what happened to the Newly constructed homes with the couple on the phone she told us “oh that would take full BAH.” I’m not sure why she would assume they didn’t want them to take full BAH for a nicer home. She wasn’t rude but definitely seem annoyed. She said they would have to deny the one she sent and get on the waiting list for Fort Sheridan. But what we don’t understand is why she didn’t automatically put them on the list when they told her what they actually wanted. Also why didn’t she send pictures of the home that she offered them and why didn’t she let them know this was an old house that is no where never what they asked for? I’m really not understanding why she was so annoyed that I came up with no one is answering the phone she’s not being honest with what they have available. We have had several homes near me in fort Sheridan the are vacant and takes months to fill.
