Neatsy Health — Remote Care

So I’ve just downloaded and tried this for the first time so I haven’t actually tried any of the recommendations yet but so far this app really is pretty neat. It identified a couple problems I was already noticing myself and has given me helpful tips for correcting them before they get worse. This app is definitely worth your time, especially if you have chronic or painful foot issues.

As someone who works in the industry and fits people this came in with a size that was 1.5 sizes smaller than my actual foot and made no account for the extra space needed for lactic acid build up that swells the feet. If I had taken the recommendation I would be suffering with loss toenails, foot numbness and arch pain. Also this app says I am 90% chance that there is something wrong with my feet, so that I pay a little extra money. There is nothing wrong with my feet. So size was way off, bogus claims about foot problems and also the recommendations of footwear were so random and inappropriate that there is no point of it even suggesting foot wear. Want a free way to find out about your foot? Go to your local specialty running store and get a hair analysis by someone who has been trained. Even if you don’t want running shoes most stores will still provide the service for no charge. This app is insulting.

The app works pretty good for finding shoe size, however am using the app within a family and there does not appear to be a way to store profiles for each member of the family. In essence I have to delete the profile, scan one kid at a time, then delete and go through whole process again for my other kid and wife. Surely would be better if I could scan the family so they each have their measurements stored in the app. The second issue is that the app does not seem to use the technology available with the LIDAR equipped iPhones. Was expecting to easily use the LIDAR scanner to create a 3D representation of feet. Both of the above I would love to see in future updates or releases but until now, app is not nearly as useful as it could be.
