First, I want to congratulate and praise the team on the excellent work being put forth towards making this game so clean and enable. I’ve discussed the “Pets” update with my guild, and we’ve already compiled many suggestions and concerns. Here’s a few, which I hope find there was through the appropriate channels. • For the amount of gems they cost to acquire, and few opportunities thus far to earn shards, they seem to add a negligible amount of attack power to the hero’s arsenal. • Yes, they have helpful abilities, however, these abilities appear to only be for the pets, where the potential to add buffs to the hero is much more enticing. • The pets attacks constantly miss, or are blocked when backed against a wall. A clear disadvantage of having the pets float aside the hero, instead perhaps of riding on the hero’s shoulder (just a thought). • On that note, another potential disadvantage, one noticed in higher levels of castles, for example, is one of visibility. The pet floating outside the hero, as well as its extra shots, simply creates more “blind spots” when anticipating enemy attacks. There have been other notes already, but we anticipate more updates to come. So far though, many have suggested they’d rather play without them. In fact, many players would prefer better guild events, or even team/individual PVP arena matches against other guilds. Again, we’re so impressed and thankful for the immense hard work put into improving this treasure of a game. But, while the pets are adorable, it already has created many concerns, and a shift in gameplay. Thank you for your time!

First off… old school side scrolling fiend. Grew up with intellivision and then nintendo ES. So this was a breath of fresh air. Been playing for a few months and have enjoyed upgrades, coins, and even got a top 5 badge on an event. I have spent no money yet, and have been using nothing but the basic character. With that being said, you will play and you will grind. Some days you will kill it and others you will get terrible drops and get mollywhopped. But thats any game. You have to proceed with the idea that you will not beat this game in a few days or even weeks. This is a long haul game even in its simplicity. That is why i enjoy it so much. I dont have some over powered professional gamer killing me with a one round head shot before i even land the first time. I play the round and play the conditions. So i will say this from a classic gamers line. Find the pattern. It isn’t always consistent, but it is pretty darn close. Learn what enemy rounds do what, and where they will go. But most important, have fun. I mean come on peeps, its a game. If you dont look at it like some giant dragon to slay, but play it for fun you will have a blast. Otherwise… well thats on you. The only thing i dont care for is that some of the events you need a specific type of character to attempt the leaderboard. I am sure i will get there with patience. But i really dont like missing out on the fun. Other than that… i am totally happy with the game play.

I’ve been playing this game for about a year and I can honestly say it’s the best game I’ve ever had on my phone. If you like the play style than you couldn’t ask for anything more. The devs are always on top of any bug and fix it promptly. Sending out a message letting you know the issue and when it’s fixed giving you some gems for the inconvenience. Almost always within the same day, if not than a matter of hours. Some games if you don’t pay to play you won’t be competitive but I think I spent like 10 bucks 6 months ago and havnt spent a penny since and I’ve always been in the top 10 on the leaderboards. They balance it out to reward skill over excessive play time as well. So if you just want to hop on after work or every now and then you’ll still have a chance to place high on the leaderboard. Of course if someone spends several hundred dollars they will be ahead of you but the game is fun and if you play you’ll catch up in no time.
