I’ve been looking for a new game to play for like, ever, and now I’m having a lot of fun with this one! It is quite challenging, but easy enough that it keeps me entertained. I’m having a lot of fun here! The sound effects are very repetitive— it’d be cool if there were several variations of the same noise that plays as each laser/bullet is shot. For example, for each shot, the “pitch” of the sound could be any value within a certain range of the baseline sound file. I would also love to see sound effects for all the other weapon types too! The recent update patched up some significant bugs (thanks, dev!) I just noticed another possible bug with my plane upgrades (the “Planes” tab). The damage upgrade was at level 90-something, and my fire rate and income upgrades were still pretty low level. I don’t recall buying so many damage upgrades. Possibly related: in the “Upgrades” tab, each upgrade showed that it would give 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, etc extra damage (or something like that) when in the “Planes” tab, it showed my damage was in the thousands. Also, I’m not sure if this is a bug or a miscommunication in the UI: in the “Upgrades” tab, each upgrade appears to only affect your attack damage, regardless of the icon (an XP arrow, or an explosion symbol for atk value) displayed for each upgrade.

Having spent my childhood in 80’s arcades, this game brings back good memories. It definitely has that vector-based “Asteroids” feel I miss so much. The game is challenging but not too difficult to ruin it. I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact I can’t upgrade up my ship. The game is telling me I need to achieve Level 13 before I upgrade any more but my ship is already past Level 160. Don’t know what to do about that.

This game used to be simple and fun, with great upgrades and straightforward gameplay. Game went offline for a bit when the devs tried revamping it. Today I checked it out again and was disappointed to learn that the upgrades are worse, the ship is underpowered, and levels are completely uncalibrated. The first half of a level is fine, final half has super-high point polygons that are literally impossible to destroy. Everything depends on a cash system. You need cash to upgrade your ship to be even remotely decent - and after you have spent your cash, you realize you can’t buy any of the level upgrades without watching ads or buying the ad free package. Uninstalling, there are several other better games out there built on the Unity platform.
