Blood Invasion: Vampire RPG

I’ve really enjoyed playing this game for the last couple of months. It’s a game that you can enjoy without having to spend money if you choose, and cool features are actually accessible if you play enough. The only and main downside of this gam has been the updates. I’ve beat the last level (last level they’ve have out right) so I’ve just be running through the game re-defeating bosses, but the latest updates have made things a bit funky. Some of the bosses and mobs that I’ve already defeated are now like impossible to defeat. It took 3 minutes to get one mob down to 99% and it wasn’t even fighting back, sooo 😭 One of the latest updates slowed my character down considerably despite having maxed out the speed attribute. Instead they now offer these in-game power-ups that are accessible through ads and last for a couple minutes, which hey, the game has to make money, I understand, but I think it’d be more useful to offer power-ups that are different from the existing ones. Also, this latest update has slowed my game down soooo much. Everything, from moving the character to accessing the store is super sluggish now. Now I probably open the game once a day for maybe 20 seconds max because I’m afraid that the game might mess up my phone. Again, I really enjoy this game, but the latest updates have seriously made me consider deleting it for the sake of my phone’s performance 😭

I’ve been playing this game for a very long time now since the days when you had to combine gears in the sanctuary space and hope that the really good stats would transfer over or trying out different combinations to test what might come up to get the best legendary gear. When the game updated and introduced the S gear I was given 200k in diamonds to compensate for all the gear I lost. With that I was able to obtain a full set of S gears from the chests, upgrade them to legendary 3 and had enough duplicate S gear to eventually make 4 of them mythic level. Sadly, in May the game was deleted from my phone and all my data was gone. I tried to reach out to support but received no reply about the issue. Since then I have only been able to obtain 5/6 S gears and only made 3 of them reach legendary 3 which goes to show it takes a really long time to build up when you’re a f2p player. My current issue now is that the reward ads won’t play so I am losing out on a lot of bonuses.

So I’ll start out by saying I like this game. I am pretty in to vampires in general as I find them fun and fascinating creatures. This is like Alien Invasion, but with vampire themes, so I thought cool, I like it, cuz I thought Alien Invasion was fun. I like the added equipment mechanics that adds a sense of RPG element to it. Those are great. Expanding that system is a good idea. Where my disappointment comes in, though, is with the purchase I made. Specifically I thought I could see myself playing this enough to warrant spending money on it, so I decided I would get the founder package, and get the no-ads version of the experience. My question is, which ads does this eliminate, exactly? (Mind you the developer claims it removes forced ads but in my experience I never got any forced ads??) In the game there are ads to open shortcuts, ads to open free chests every once in awhile, and ads to gain small chunks of resources that can be useful, as well as activating your Fever mode which is basically Vampire Super Saiyan for a minute or so. After purchasing the no ads upgrade… I still have to watch ads to open shortcuts (I thought for sure this would be the ones that I didn’t have to do!), I still have to watch ads to gain chunks of resources, I still have to watch ads to open free chests, and it hasn’t happened yet but I am assuming that I still have to watch an ad to use Fever mode next time it pops up. So, it feels definitively like I paid for a no-ad upgrade that does, well, nothing. Please rectify this, as the developers. And those of you who are reading this, do not expect ads to be eliminated by buying the no-ad upgrades, until the developers fix this.
