This app is an amazing intersection of how technology and easing people’s lives come together. I’m someone who wants to improve my relationship with my money and be more confident with what I do with it as a new college graduate. “The Beans” is a tool that will help me foster that relationship. I’m excited to see where this app is going and how it will continue positively influence my life! On top of that, you can see how the team is a group of caring people who are coming together to make something accessible for those who really need it. The interface and features are user friendly, easy to understand, and overall makes me more motivated to be more wise with my income. I’d definitely recommend it to my friends and family! :) thank you for this app!!
I’m happy that I’ve finally found an incredibly useful app to plan my budget. It was super easy to connect my info and make a plan to manage my money from both my jobs. I also get to see all of my expenses laid out on the screen, and the calendar lets me see upcoming bills. All of this definitely helps me as a grad student because I can visualize my budget easier and spend my money a little bit wiser! overall, I’m very pleased with this app!
This app needs more work. The concept is great. A digital budget tool that not only helps you plan but also help you cope—the app implements breaks in between each step so as not to overwhelm yourself. That’s cool. But then like? It’s glitchy as hell. I had to contact customer support on step one. They were great. So professional and prompt and even updated the app to fix the bug. Sigh. But then I got to step 2. And I’m not contacting customer support again. For whatever reason, the transactions on my account don’t all show up through this app. There’s an option to report that however there is no option to manually add reoccurring expenses and income. Wouldn’t you think that that’s necessary? The aesthetic of the app is lovely but it isn’t super functional. It feels as if the app is still in the beta stage. Which is a deal breaker for me. I would delete my account but it looks like I’d have to contact customer support to do that. So. Whatever. Know what you’re getting into.
