Tonal

This has been one of the best investments that I’ve ever made for myself and for my family. Whether I am home or away, there are so many different kinds of workouts that you can do. This machine has given me so much assurance that I always have something to keep my body healthy. You really do end up finding coaches that you love. The best thing about this machine is that it’s smart, so it learns your strengths and weaknesses and helps you grow without you having to think about anything. It will find workouts that helps to challenge you or even adjust your current workouts as you grow/decline (let’s be honest, sometimes life gets crazy and I may not get to work out as much as I want, but the machine makes the adjustments when I return). But knowing it’s always there makes me feel like I’m only one decision away from moving forward, so as you can see I love it, lol. I know it’s expensive, but it’s worth it! I got so tired of all the work that it took for me to go to a gym and how long it took for me to get through all my exercises since I had to wait for other people to finish on the machines I wanted. Just get it…you’re welcome 😘

I have had Tonal for a year and I just canceled my membership because I can’t afford $60 a month on top of the financing for the equipment. I didn’t realize in the fine print when I bought my Tonal that there is a mandatory 12 month period of paid membership. That’s an additional $720 on top of the $4000 for the machine and equipment. If I wanted to pay $60 a month I would get a gym membership. I bought this machine so that I don’t have to go to the gym. I shouldn’t be forced to pay $60 a month to use it. I just wanted to provide some feedback for consideration. If you were able to offer a tiered subscription for different values I would be very interested in that. For example basic features for $20 a month to connect the Apple Watch and use some of the smart features. Realistically I don’t use the trainers and courses which is why I assume this is $60 a month. I only use the free weight portion and make my own workout. I would love to use the smart features too but it’s not worth it for $60 a month. So I am going to use it as a basic cable machine now like a gym. Honestly it’s sad that $4000 machine has no smart features at all if you don’t pay $60 a month for a membership. I feel like for the $4000 price to buy the machine and equipment that alone should pay for SOME if not ALL features. I hope you will consider this in the future. Also I hope that you will consider military/veteran discounts for the services as well. I’m not sure that this comment will help but I wanted to let you know why after a year I will not be continuing my membership. I love the machine, and I am very disappointed that your company forces a membership to use its features. Thank you for your consideration.

Tonal goes without saying as an incredible unit. But I truly love the app for my ability to explore workouts and programs when I’m winding down for the night or on my lunch break at work. To help me get excited for the next day’s workout, or the next 4 week program I want to try. A huge benefit of the app for me is those days when you really don’t want to workout, or you don’t feel ambitious you can look at the scheduled workout and the upcoming moves and it tends to give me motivation. I’ve been using tonal for exactly 13 weeks straight 7days a week so far between lift days and active recovery and I’d say being able to pick my recovery’s ahead of time, look through programs as well as reviewing the data from a completed workout on my phone rather than standing at the tonal and using the screen has played a huge part in that
