Attendify

Attendify is a very helpful app to connect with others while at a conference and to be kept updated on workshop adjustments that happen in the midst of a conference. For me, it has a serious flaw. I used the app when planning my arrival to the conference, only to find out when I arrived that the app adjusted the time for time zones. I suppose if I was flying across country, I might have noticed “odd” times in the schedule. Since I’m only one time zone away, it was just a huge nuisance to use the app, and then arrive an hour “off.” I think that most people using the app to plan which workshops to attend would want to know what time the workshop will be when they’re at the conference. Not what time it will be back home while they’re at the conference.

The App helped a lot but my favorite moment was the last sermon by the Physician. This one was so powerful. He was a great choice #great speaker. I’m sure that you guys have things to improve , like: translators for other ethnicities than Spanish, translation for people who speak Haitian Creole, French etc. And also, a lot of people complained about the food, that need a lot of improvement. The presenters need to distribute support for the courses or have the participants copy them on flash drives.

Loved the app to keep updated on all the activities at our C4A Conference! Love that I don’t have to carry the papers around and hunting for each class or activity schedule. Easy to use and great for connecting with other PSAs or other facilitators. Wonderful addition to our conference! I would again next year!
