Glitch game on iOS and no available support on the app support link

A really fun game until… some difficulties I think can wait until I finish the first version of the game. I’ve already played this on my switch where I can complete everything except the clock Puzzle which is glitched out there. On the switch, there are some places where you need to be able to feel the vibration on your controller. Those are the tuning fork puzzles, but supposedly you can solve it by listening, but not on an iPad so probably not on an iPhone either; maybe if you have a headset which I do not. However, the game shuts down every time I try to solve the puzzle where you have to get the cubes sideways when you spell out Metatron‘s name I don’t know if it’s only with one cube or if it’s the location, but I can’t get it to not shut down and I can’t get to Support. I don’t play platformer games. I didn’t even think of this as one. It’s a great puzzle game and it’s also mind blowing. I think that’s healthy for the mind and I’m a psychiatrist so maybe my opinion should count. I first played this game on iOS. And then I change to the switch and I was able to do the entire game except for the puzzle. I have painful arthritis in the base of my right thumb and yet I could still do it without aggravating that it’s much harder for the iOS compared to the switch. I would give this game five stars if the glitches were surmountable. Just making an “app Support” button with no support behind it is almost worth minus 2 stars. Without the glitches, this game would be worth 5 stars. Don’t forget multiple solutions to puzzles online.

Great game.... with a huge bug.

This version of the game introduced me to Fez, and I’m currently going through my second playthrough on my new iPhone XR. I originally played it on my previous phone, the iPhone 6, which was a very flawed, yet suitable machine. When playing Fez on that phone, however, I encountered no bugs or glitches whatsoever, but on my new phone, a giant bug stares me in the face every time I play: I can’t see the map. Now I’ve heard that this glitch is triggered by going back to the village right after the floating cube thing introduces the map feature to you once you leave the village for the first time. This actually happened when I first tried playing this on my new phone, so I made a new game and didn’t go back to the village when the floating cube told me about the map. I played for a while and then stopped after an thirty minutes or so. The next day, I was feeling sick, so I stayed home. After waking up from a nap, I booted Fez up again on my phone, but lo and behold, there wasn’t a map on my screen. This is something that’s needed, or else I’ll just get lost and not realize what path I should focus on and what rooms and areas have secrets in them. Please fix this bug, it’s gonna drive me crazy if it isn’t, and I really want to beat this game again. Fez is the greatest indie game ever made, and I just hope others can experience it in the way it was meant to be played, and without a game-shattering bug staring them in the face.

A wonderful game, an odd change.

This game has the player explore and ponder each and every crevice of this amazing, and yet challenging world. The amount of playability and discovery in the game is astonishing! So it was an obvious purchase to make once I saw it on the App Store. However, as I understand the game as I had played it on PC, the iPhone version seems to be lacking of usability. It can be hard to use the controls on such a small device (which can be fixed with iPhone game controllers), but it’s harder to see the small, and beautiful, details that can be vital for a full play through of the game. So I hope to see a way to zoom in the level! I also witnessed a few bugs, but as the game constantly saves, it’s not too bad to just restart the app. This game is a must-have! Don’t let the negative aspects draw you away from this game; the port isn’t perfect, but the game is! If you haven’t played it, I highly recommend you do, some way or another!
