The Pathless

Having playing the Pathless on Apple Arcade, I dont understand the contention about the paid version being different. It feels, looks and plays the same! I do with there was an option to disable the autorun, as it gets cumbersome with accidental hits, and messes up a bit. Otherwise, Im enjoying my third playthrough. This is the closest we have to Ico or SotC, and Id love to see more! What I would really like to see is a port of Ico and SotC, and I think this company could pull it off. They have the gameplay and mechanics down, and all three share similarities in simplicity and mechanics. While its an odd request, I would love to see a Pathless Sequel (or another type), or this studio remake and port Ico and SotC onto mobile!

I LOVED the Apple Arcade version it was literally the only reason I had Apple Arcade subscription and when they took it off I was so sad. So when I bought here I was expecting the same experience maybe something better since it was more expensive. But nope. The graphics worse (which is a shame cause the game is gorgeous) there are severe glitches, and delays that set you back in trying to achieve goals. Needless to say I definitely regret buying the game and don't recommend you buy it until they fix these things or the price comes down.

This game is quite simply one of my favorite games. It allows you to explore at your own pace, and despite having no combat and only a handful of mechanics (auto-aiming bow, flying on and petting your eagle), it manages to stay fresh the whole time. I was sad to see it leave Apple Arcade and I’m so glad it’s back now. Can’t recommend it enough.
