Although far from perfect when first released, BSW has continually updated and improved upon the UX and features of and functionality of this app. It seems like every few months or at least twice a year, I logon and notice a new or improved aspect of the experience. Just now I went in to schedule a general wellness checkup and and the UX was seamless and intuitive and better than the last time I scheduled online because once again they have made positive changes; In previous / providers providers I’ve seen before but this time it had me put in a location and then showed me all the available providers in that area. I still selected my current PCP because I’ve been seeing her for many years but it’s nice to see the other options and have more flexibility. I also love that any action taken in the portal for example getting a message or making an appointment or paying a bill, is immediately confirmed via email and text and MyChart message too. The processing speed is very quick. The only thing I’ve ever had trouble with that I can recall is sometimes the Video Visit feed has had issues either with Audio or the video freezing. This could have been a Wi-Fi issue but there’s no way to know for sure. Mostly though like 8 out of 10 times it works fine and the fees is clear and consistent for the whole video visit. Overall, love this app and love my Baylor S&W providers and staff! The receptionists and refill coordinators are always helpful and kind. Tversions, when I’d go to set up an appointment it would only list my current providers/ providers

I tried a couple of years ago to get this bow app. I finally gave up because it would never recognize my email which I found out last week that had been incorrectly entered by someone so there was no way to set it up. I talked to a man at the surgery center and he helped me and told me my email was incorrect and gave me someone to call in fact I had to call 2 different times for help and the men were very nice and helpful. Well after tears and several trys I was finally able to get in and get me covid results which I needed to print but you website does not allow printing from a smartphone....sooo I was able to get in...thank the LORD on my laptop. (What if I didn’t have a laptop??) and print the information. SO today I get a msg from BSW saying there is an important msg for me in this ‘portal’ which has been a nightmare for me. I tried to get in again and I did, but there was a msg now... saying I couldn’t open up anything because the browser wasn’t accepted or somethingridiculous because I had gotten in before. What’s wrong with this system... this is horrible to have to deal with this. If you can’t get it right then shut it down and have the doctors offices or hospital respond with human beings to get their messages or reports. The world is upside down and this isn’t helping people. Am I the only one. Your tech people are really nice and helpful but it gets old having to call for help.... this silly thing wanted a nickname when I sent it. I put my name in and it said it was taken.....why does that NOT SURPRISE ME!.

As another patient said before this USED to be a great app. My husband and mother could go on and look at labs, visit notes, etc. it’s ridiculous. I have been diagnosed in October of 2017 with a new illness. I’m seeing multiple providers for this issue. I required about 10-12 vials of blood to be drawn. I have a port because my veins are useless. So 2 of my other specialists sent lab requests over to Texas Oncology because they drew from my port. These were extremely important tests. It’s been over a month and not only have the labs not posted but there was no mention of my low iron that I have treatments for. In addition my physician got a little agitated saying that having all those tests run there was not going to work. He said he doesn’t read those labs and since it’s under his name he could be liable. Well, ok they are the ones who suggested this because it’s nearly impossible to draw from my veins. So I’m kinda stuck. I’ve sent messages thru this ridiculous “portal” which was the one thing baylor had going for it and now it’s useless too. Lastly I have a patient portal thru Texas Oncology and it’s no better. I don’t know what happened but it’s a real shame and disappointment because you can never get info by calling dr or nurse. Standard is “ let me pull that up and I’ll call you back or I’ll send results to your email. You are forgotten before the phone hangs up!
