They scammed in 2 things, first one they have an ad advertisement, showing a “lip oil” will be provided as a free with the product, whereas they charged one rupees yet they did not send their product and the second scam in the name of offer, there was a mystery box which said we have to pay 399 rupees and items worth 1499 will be added in the box, they sent me sample products and labeled it as 499 and 399, which is really a cheap trick to attract more customers and and the customer support is worst. Whatever concern you tell, they listen everything and the only solution they give for all the queries is please send us an email, then what’s the use of having a call representative. There are multiple brands where they provide all the sample products for free and they sometimes even add a full size product as a free whereas Foxtale choose this cheap trick as “mystery box” and adding a sample and when I raised a concern with the customer centre, they told it cannot be returned. “Mr/Mrs Foxtale, if you cannot provide what you promised your customers, please stop making false promises and misleading them with scams.”
I used the skin analysis feature and later deleted my account, expecting everything to reset — but my old skin photo and analysis results are still showing up even after reinstalling the app. There’s no option to retake or reupload a photo, and support has been unresponsive so far. This is not just bad UX — it’s a privacy issue, especially since the app stores biometric facial data without giving users proper control to delete or reset it. I’ve sent a formal request under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Waiting to see if they resolve this. Until then, I can’t recommend this app.
