I’ve been using this app for quite some time to search for vehicles, and it was one of my go-to tools for navigating the car market. However, the latest update has completely ruined the experience and, quite frankly, seems like a blatant attempt to manipulate the market to favor sellers at the expense of buyers. The app’s decision to remove the ability for buyers to see how many people are interested in a vehicle is a massive misstep. This feature was crucial for gauging a vehicle’s popularity and understanding the market demand. Without it, buyers are left in the dark, unable to make informed decisions. This is not only frustrating but feels like an intentional move to create a false sense of scarcity, enabling sellers to inflate prices further. By removing this feature, the app has effectively turned itself into a playground for opportunistic sellers. With buyers unable to judge the market fairly, sellers can now jack up prices without any fear of losing out to competition because the demand is now entirely obscured. It’s a blatant disregard for transparency and fairness, and it leaves users at a significant disadvantage. To make matters worse, this move comes off as highly anti-consumer. It almost feels like the app developers are more interested in catering to sellers, perhaps to boost their own profits through increased transaction volumes or commission fees, rather than ensuring a fair and transparent marketplace. If you’re a buyer looking for a fair shot at purchasing a vehicle at a reasonable price, I’d recommend steering clear of this app until they undo this ill-advised change. Until then, this app has lost my trust.
Finding cars is easy. But it’s got cars that have over 115k miles goin for the price of a car that shouldn’t have that many miles at all in that price range. They wanted $18,k+ for a car with 114k miles. A car with 49k miles should be worth that $18k-$25k market. Not one with 114k miles anyway all the cars and trucks are over priced. Lowest I saw was $15k not even worth it. And then adding tax and other fees to purchase the car it’s crazy. Know what a car is worth before getting this app or you will end up over paying and upside down. Luckily the internet should give you a well balanced idea of whatever car your looking for is worth. Carfax should give you a free report but they seem to want money for it when they are always saying ask for the car fax when buying a car. You can’t do this if you have to pay to see the report. It’s always the highest priced report your going to want. So it’s like do you want to take a peek for $20 ? Or get the full report for X amount ? If there to help you with the history it should be upfront when you need it and not charged for it. Anyway I can go on and on about this. You get the idea. Carfax just make it worth the customers time make it free. So people can see if that’s the car they want or not. If they can’t get it free they will end up buying a flooded car or some other lemon. No one wants that and you want to be the people go to right ? I would use carfax all the time if the report was free to help me decide on the car. Help is help. But help is not help when a few is attached to it. And again I could go on and on and talk about both sides about fees and no fees. But I guess I better cut this review short before it gets to long.
Updated Review: Developers have already fixed the one major issue I had with the app, that’s amazing service. Who ever they hired to make this app is doing a great job. Thank you! Older Review: Nice responsive app, feels like the website. A 2-star is a harsh rating given how clean this is but I’m hoping it will get the developers attention so they can address this one small issue. 🐛Bug Report🐛 Description: When visiting my favorites list for a used vehicle, I cannot highlight text to copy from the vehicles details page but I can from the web app. This seems like an easy fix, if you can correct this I will bump up my review. I like to copy/paste the VIN to get additional details about vehicles / quickly find them on the dealers site. Device: iPhone 11 Pro Max Platform: iOS 14.3 ✅Feature Requests - Nice to haves ✅ 1) It would be great if I could write notes about a favorited vehicle. I have to export the listings to a spreadsheet for note taking capability which is a shame. It’s very useful when your trying to narrow down a search. 2) It would be great if you had a “not interested” selection so I could forever block certain vehicles from appearing in future searches. I’ve seen this implemented on some realtor sites / apps. It’s a rare but awesome feature.
