Fitia: Calorie Counter & Diet

I like this app. I paid for a year of premium. However, I often have to add my own barcodes for stuff or stuff from restaurants. You’d think I’d be able to search “chik fil a sauce” and find it easily but no. Or lots of items from restaurants that have published nutrition facts. And beers too and lots of stuff. I have added a lot manually myself to help other people’s you’d think they would make an effort to add national chain restaurant nutrition facts so we aren’t scrounging the web to log a meal at chilis. Otherwise it’s decent. Actually having a decent database would take this app to five stars. Oh and the AI is very critical of your meals lol. I had a ginger lemon agave beet juice drink this morning and it told me WHOA WATCH THE SUGAR lol

Love the family plan- great deal ($90/ yr) for access to all the features for 2-6 users. AI feature “coach” is awesome- you can take a picture of your food and it will guess the calories fairly accurately- and you can adjust where needed. The coach also does a lot of the math for me when I don’t have time (which is often as a working mom of 2). My favorite part is that the calorie goal is a range. You have your exact target goal number, but there is about 100 calorie wiggle room both below and above to stay in the green which is so helpful psychologically for me to feel like I am successful even if I go over a few calories.

This app is great for family members tracking calories together due to sync/cooking-mode features. However it needs more improvements. Every time I sync with my partner, it deletes my existing plan (I might have ate extra cookies etc so I want to keep them). Also in cooking mode I would like to be able choose certain foods from other members and add it to mine (instead of syncing everything)
