I’ve tried so many apps for cycle tracking, they all have fancy ways you can see things or bright flashy colors, yet somehow they are lacking in the simpler things you need for a tracking app. Half the time, the “fancy” ways they present your data is not very legible which can defeat the purpose of having the data. I tried for years to find an app I would stick with but none lasts more than a few cycles. When I found FEMM, that changed. I have been using FEMM since 2016, and have 94 cycles entered in. When I hit 60 cycles logged I thought that number was crazy, but now I know I will never go to another app as FEMM just does everything I need. It is discreet and the colors are nice pastels. It’s honestly very beautiful to look at. Not only do I use it for my cycles, but I also use it to track medications, notes when I have an illness, and symptoms (emotional or physical) that are unrelated to my period. I can click on a day from years back and instantly see what happened that day. I can even send a cycle breakdown to my email! Honestly, FEMM goes above and beyond for making something that can seem daunting so simple, all in a single app. It has helped me document things my doctors needed years later, and I can tell them the exact date I had a symptom show up. I love showing how much data I have collected on myself. I trust their privacy clause, and am grateful they are mindful of those things. I recommend FEMM to all of my friends, and they continue to say throughout the years how glad they are that I told them about it. Try it out, you won’t be disappointed. 💜
There are SOOO many different period/cycle tracking apps on the app store, it can be overwhelming to figure out how to choose between them. Unlike most of the other apps on this store, the FEMM app is backed by research AND endorsed by many physicians. The app is completely free, easy to use, has a good variety of options for tracking categories, and has an aesthetically pleasing cute design that isnt too overwhelming. I have been using this app for a while and I absolutely love it! I cannot recommend this app enough for anyone looking for an easy to use app to track their cycles&symptoms. This is particularly helpful if youre tracking for health reasons, youre TTC, or you are practicing a FAM or NFP method, but it isn’t necessary. The app is tailored to work well with the FEMM method but also can be applied to most other methods such as Symptothermal, Billings, Creighton, Marquette, Boston Cross Check, and more. Also I haven’t personally used this specific feature but the app currently supports multiple other languages which may be useful if English is not your first language
This app is a very helpful tool. I just started using it to track my periods and I like all of the information it lets you input so you get an accurate picture of what’s going on in your body. This way, you can notice patterns with your cycles. Very cool! I think this app would be beneficial to those like me with a history of reproductive health problems, since it helps you keep daily records that you can go over with your doctor. As for those negative remarks about this app being anti-science, that is simply not true. It is very scientific to have a solid knowledge of what’s going on in your body. This app helps with that. To those interested in this app, I’d say keep an open mind and don’t let the anti-Catholic, bigoted comments dissuade you. To those posting the nasty comments, you are free to not use this app. That is your choice. But please do not try to take alway the options and choices of other women like me who like this sort of app. You are all about choice, right?
