As the title of this review states, I love shopping at Express. However, this app makes my shopping experience incredibly annoying at times. For starters, there should be a « save for later» or « favorites » feature so that you can save items that you are not quite ready to pay for. For example, I rarely pay full price for clothing because it almost always goes on sale. If I put items in my cart and only a few of them are on sale at the moment, I usually take the full priced items out so that I only buy what’s on sale. Using this app, I have to go back and manually search and re-add the items I want to keep an eye on after paying for the sale items. This is not user friendly at all and is actually quite archaic. Even websites that sell cheap clothing allow you to save clothes in a favorites section to prevent searching and re-adding items. Express clothes are not what I would call cheap, so this app should definitely have more features. Another gripe I have is that things that are out of stock routinely show in stock until I attempt to add them to my cart. Then they say « item unavailable », which is quite disappointing. If I had an Express where I live, I would simply just go in store to shop. Unfortunately, it looks like I’m stuck with this crappy app for now. To the developer of this app: please do better and add modern features!!!
People would buy more online as well as bringing more foot traffic in your store if u HAD A SHIP TO STORE or STORE PICK UP OPTION, Pluss The convenience will be Welcomed by customers, as it will drive up your foot traffic which equals in store sale, gaining business and a chance on improving your brands image because you can spin it as if “you care about our wallets and can say “you’ve listened to customers concerns & suggestions and after sympathizing with the customers realize we care about you &you care about your wallets so we are implementing “SHIP TO STORE” people like me will drive to mall to pick up the item shop at other stores until entering yours whom then look around; if you always have a discount/clearance rack near counter {LIKE PERMANENTLY HAVE ITEMS EVERY DAY EVERY STORE ;OR SPECIFIC ITEMS YOU BUY TO SELL ON THOSE RACKS or sell ur OVERSTOCK or actually BUY OVERSTOCK JUST FOR THAT RACK)people will see SALE and may buy However the Discount rack only entices them wetting their appetite OR teases them into becoming more curious and shop around more looking for other deals! But the convenience factor, you care about saving us $ ;will BE YOUR MAIN SELLING POINT to public for PR publicity also driving up interest in social media, news and stock prices which puts you on people tongue! Oh how I’d love it if you told me before hand IF you were GOING to use my idea!!! Anyways food for thought! Thx mike DeRosa
Having a grown son living 900 miles away can make gift giving a difficult process; especially when his birthday is on Christmas Day! However, I love having an account with Express and I can either shop near my home or online. I usually shop online. I can find so many items that I know he will like and look great wearing and the quality of the clothes are wonderful. I can have everything shipped to him and anything that doesn’t fit or he doesn’t like; he can easily exchange at the store in the city where he lives. I also pass on to him my extra coupons in case he wants to purchase gifts for friends or more items for himself. It makes things so easy for us both. Last year I wrapped the presents and took them with me and it filled my car! Having everything shipped to him is much easier. I can wrap them when I get there. Thank you Express for making my life easier and I know I am giving wonderful gifts!
