I have very much apreciated National Grid for taking the time and effort to make this charge incentive program. While it's new and just getting off the ground (read maybe a bug here or there) it works exceptionally well, and does exactly what it's supposed to do. The system tracks my Tesla charges and very simply provides me a credit at the end of each month. Like getting paid for something I am already doing anyway!! I look forward to National Grid openeing this up to more then one electric car per account.
I am having the exact same problem as several reviewers below. I have a Chevy Bolt which is on their eligibility list, but the app does not recognize my login. It is not user error because I can log into the Chevrolet app just fine. But every time I try to log into this, it first kicks me back to the login screen and I have to type my email and password a second time. Then I just get a spinning blue circle forever. National grid is unable to provide me with any sort of fix or timeframe for resolving this problem. It looks like people have been having this problem as far back as May and still no solution. And yet national grid continues to advertise that they give EV charging rebates. Perhaps it is working for some people, but I know I am not the only one who isn’t getting rebates merely because their app doesn’t work. I wish this would be a higher priority for them, but I guess if fixing it results in giving more $$ back to their customers, then it is not a high priority :(
UPDATE 7/4: not long after NatGrid finally contacts me to get specifics on my issues, it emails to say the Jeep 4xE/UConnect connection to ChargeSmart has proven so unreliable it is no longer included in the program. As a reward they round up my two months of rebates to the nearest dollar — whopping extra couple of quarters for my trouble. Sigh. This program is a great idea that is just poorly executed. It needs to work through more than just the ChargePoint charger. I have a Juicebox charger and its app seems to log it’s use very well as opposed to going through the Jeeps UConnect system which seems to sleep most of the time when the car is off Shocking. It collected data between the peak hours of 1 and 9 pm but during the nonpeak hours in which it gives you the discount, my Jeep is always offline and can’t be connected
