Zen Shards - Idle Merge Game

The title may sound weird, but hear me out, right? As somebody who has constant sleep scheduling issues and possibly even sleep deprivation, sometimes I need to just get whatever energy out by playing a game, but sometimes that adrenaline comes right back sadly, and then I’m not getting any sleep that night However, with this game, the calm, serine, and almost cosmic-like soundtrack actually HELPS me in falling asleep quite often It helps that this game also doesn’t take up too much processing power, so I can ACTUALLY keep it running overnight on the charger without effecting my actual charging where sometimes it’ll limit your battery to only 80% Additionally, the sounds the game makes when shards are broken always seem to be timed well with the music, again, helping with the ability to fall asleep while playing this game Like other people have said, I appreciate the ad breaks where we get the rewards without watching an ad sometimes, I’m not sure what the algorithm or percentage chance there is of this, but I genuinely wish every mobile game I’ve played now had this feature as well I feel like this is the first time in a while I’ve seen mobile game devs that actually care about the user experience, rather than making a quick buck I know how rare the chance might be, but devs, if you see this, thanks, you’re literally helping me with getting my sleep schedule back on track, which also helps with mental health, among other things 👍

I like this game, I’m not a spender like micro transactions and stuff but the game does offer adds for speed ups and helpful little things along the way. Every so often instead of an Ad you’ll get a “thank you but we got this one” and you get this stuff instantly whatever it may be. Never been have I seen that. Amazed me. Also after every ad I watch I see a Thank you message which I really appreciate coming from the team and I feel like I’ve just contributed along with thousands of others to provide more funding to make the game better. And trust me it is fun I’m getting locked in playing it and I’m loving every second of it, if you like an “idle game” this one is real - no forced ads no forced anything. Just a good time that will last

This game gets as habitual and addictive as Cookie Clicker or Adventure Capitalist, while being much more low-key and chill. Even with the ambient music off, even the sparks bouncing off shard after shard make their own eerily pleasant music, while the chaotic trails and dancing shards make their own weirdly-beautiful moving art. Put it before you go to sleep and you'll wake up much richer (in-game) than you were the night before. You don't necessarily need to pay anything, as everything you get (in-game) can be easily earned with enough time and patience, but I'd be happy enough to pay regardless, both to reward the dev for this minimalist masterpiece and to unlock premium features that would genuinely make my game experience all the better...like a Safe that quietly fills with bonus Prisms, doesn't force you to buy it, but occasionally reminds you it's there, and waits for you to come to it and get a tidy windfall (in-game)...
