I started doing yoga about 8 years ago on another app. I learned most of the positions from that app. This app is excellent if you already know most of the poses—just the names of the poses are changed slightly. I wouldn’t say this is a great app for weight loss per se but it keeps me motivated to move. Also what is great is that the length of each yoga session is short enough that you could do 2 or 3 different sessions in one day if you feel ambitious, or just one session and still feel like you stretched your body well enough. It does NOT have crazy arm balancing or head balancing poses, which I’m grateful for because that’s just not for me. But I usually do at least one session each and every day and I end up feeling great. I am over 50, and I believe this is an excellent app for the 45+ demographic
I am so new to the yoga world, well in this current body shape anyway. No longer able to work has done a number on me. Not to mention “the BIG change” we, as females go thru, really packed on the pounds. I love the fact it’s FREE and I can do it in my time anywhere I find my space. Can’t wait for the weather to be warmer, I can take it outside! It’s easy to follow instruction, and doesn’t take too long. Before you know it you’re done and wanting to do more.
