I’m almost 65, and had a stroke a few years back that affected both knees. My left one more than my right. I also have back and neck injuries. I am also caregiver to my mil. I have tried a lot of exercise apps that I ended up quitting because of lack of time, and I couldn’t do them. I’d almost given up hope. This is the first app that has asked about injuries and adapted workouts tailored to my needs. I also found that I can incorporate more than one workout in a minimal space. Past workouts with other apps had my knee swelling and could barely walk. These workouts have literally been gentle but very effective without my knee swelling and hurting. I am finding myself playing with grandkids again. THANK YOU for listening. I’m pumped!!!!
I am enjoying the low impact exercise program each day. I am 78 years old and have had positional vertigo since 2012. It was a result of a concussion where I fell backward on concrete and fractured my skull. Since the accident my physical movements have been very measured and limited. Your program has worked successfully for me to help maintain my balance and overall I feel improvement in my daily movements. I have had to omit the floor exercises in the initial program, but those exercises on my feet and using a chair have been amazing for me to complete with absolutely no issues. I plan to continue the program daily with no plans to discontinue as long as I continue to experience the positive results.
Bear in mind, I am 43. But, I have been having lots of health problems lately, so I felt like a 60-year-old or older. That is why I signed up for this app. My first impression, after three exercise sessions, is: this is a one size fit all type program. I’m not sure what the little questionnaire influences. However, that’s how the old 1980s exercise videos all were, and $30 would get you one or two videos. so, the price was right.—-excellent, really. Plus, This has some variety every day! I see what others mean when they don’t know what the little figure is doing and how it doesn’t match all the videos, but I just needed something to get me moving in the morning… And this is easy enough to start out with! When I don’t know what to do, or feel, it is too easy, I make up my own thing to do. A suggestion I have, is making the animation “outline only,” instead of with black pants because you can’t tell what her legs are doing. Overall, I would highly recommend this app for simply getting started, if you’re afraid of exercise!
